🐾 DOG MODELS NEEDED! ✂️🎓

Our Louisiana Grooming Academy students are ready for hands-on training, and we’re looking for some of our wonderful clients to become grooming models!

✨ Student grooms are 50% OFF!
All grooms are performed by students under the supervision of our experienced instructors.

We need 4 dogs per week for each breed/coat type shown on our schedule.

🐾 Must be an established client

🐾 Dogs must be well-behaved & comfortable with grooming

🐾 Please allow extra time for student appointments

We are proud to officially announce the launch of Louisiana Grooming Academy!

After years of planning and a lifetime of experience in the pet grooming industry, we're excited to begin training the next generation of professional groomers.

Our instructors are:

✨ Wendy Phelps – Founder of The Paw Spa Luxury Pet Grooming and a professional groomer with over 33 years of experience. Wendy has groomed and educated across the country and is passionate about sharing her knowledge, techniques, and commitment to excellence with future groomers.

✨ Sam Cox – A highly skilled groomer with over 16 years of experience, known for her calm handling and precision styling. She has a strong background in breed-specific cuts, custom pet syles, and compassionate care for senior and anxious pets. Sam is passionate about mentoring students and building confidence through practical, real-world training.

At Louisiana Grooming Academy, students will receive personalized, hands-on instruction in a small class setting, ensuring every student gets the individual attention they need to succeed.

🐾 An Important Update from The Paw Spa Luxury Pet Grooming 🐾

To our wonderful clients,

We want to thank each of you for your continued support and for trusting us with your furry family members.

Due to recent changes affecting debit card processing, we’ve had to make an unexpected adjustment to our pricing. Over the past few months, we’ve worked hard to find the best solution. We even tried no longer accepting debit cards, but we quickly realized it wasn’t the most convenient option for our clients or our staff.

Effective August 5, 2026:

✨ Our standard grooming prices will increase by $5.

💵 Clients who pay with cash or check will automatically receive a $5 Cash & Check Savings, allowing them to continue paying the same grooming price as before.

This savings does not apply to nail trim services.

This decision was not made lightly, but it allows us to continue accepting all forms of payment while maintaining the quality, care, and service you’ve come to expect from The Paw Spa.
