Crouton is a bundle of energy! She's a playful, lively kitten who loves to have fun. Given her past as a stray, it's wonderful that she's adapted so well to indoor life and is now looking for a forever home.

Meet Tilly! She was completely shut down at the Surry Shelter and had been there since November. She had made no progress in a kennel so one of our volunteers decided to give her a chance outside of the kennel environment. Just as suspected, Tilly is blossoming and becoming more confident and trusting every day! Our best guess is that Tilly is about a year old and some sort of border collie mix. She loves other dogs and will do best in a home with a well rounded dog that can help build her confidence. Tilly will need a patient family that is willing to work with her on trust, boundaries, and introducing her to new things. This sweet girl has come a long way but still needs quite a bit of work to become the dog she was meant to be. She is available for adoption through PACC. A very special family is required for Tilly. She knows how to use a doggie door and will do best with a securely fenced yard. Tilly loves to run zoomies with other dogs and absolutely needs an active doggie playmate in her adoptive home. Buck has joined PACC's foster club! He is an approximately 3 year old jack russell terrier mix and weighs 20 pounds. Buck was at the local shelter for over a month! How could this sweet little guy get overlooked for so long? He is now living it up in his foster home and waiting for the perfect family to scoop him up. Buck gets along great with other dogs, cats, and kids. He is easygoing and also loves to ride! Cars, trucks, golf carts, you name it and he loves it. If you are looking for a sweet, cuddly, playful, easygoing pup then Buck may be your guy!

Meet Happy! He was pulled from the Southampton County Animal Shelter near hunting season (formerly named Jupiter). He has been treated for heartworm disease and is looking for his forever home. Happy is just a derpy happy hound dog that is still working on his good boy skills. He was used to being a working hound and not having to watch his manners. Happy is slowly developing some "house manners" but will need continued training. Happy is about 4 to 5 years of age and weighs about 55 pounds. He is looking for his forever home!

Update: Peanut has been adopted!

Meet Peanut! This sweet girl was found huddled up outside in the coldest part of January. She was very skeptical of humans at first but has quickly come around! Peanut was given the name "peanut" because of her petite physique. Some veterinary staff mentioned that she seemed like a "munchkin" because of her small stature. But, this tiny girl has a big personality and lots of love to give:) Peanut loves playing with her toys, giving snuggles, and napping the day away!
