🧬 Luka’s got the genes to match his grit!

Our very own Wildcard’s Omertà (Luka) just got his Embark results back and this pup is 🔥:

✅ Clear of 269 genetic conditions (yep, all the Malinois/Dutch Shepherd concerns too)
⚠️ Carrier of one variant for Copper Toxicosis — not at risk, just means we know what’s in the mix.

A huge shoutout to Anna Lynch at Wildcard Working Dogs — Luka is a prime example of the excellence and integrity she produces in her program. Good breeding matters. Good health matters. And Luka embodies both.

We can’t wait to see how far this little powerhouse will go in PSA, scent work, and beyond.

Another win for the Wildcard program!
Wildcard’s Omertà, aka Luka, from our Virus x Rogue pairing, just received his Embark results — and he’s looking strong from the inside out:

✅ Clear of 269 genetic conditions, including all known issues identified in Dutch Shepherds / Malinois
⚠️ Carrier of one copy of a variant associated with Copper Toxicosis (accumulating) — this condition hasn’t been studied enough in Dutch Shepherds to determine its impact, and Luka is not considered at increased risk.

Genetic screening is just one tool in the toolbox — but it’s an important one.

We’re proud to see our breeding choices producing dogs with clarity, integrity, and the potential to thrive in demanding roles. Luka is a young dog with a big future, and we’ll be cheering him and his human on every step of the way.

‼️‼️‼️ Exciting update! ‼️‼️‼️

The Chubs x Troeg breeding has officially taken place. We’re thrilled about this pairing and hopeful for a healthy litter. Pregnancy will be confirmed around 45 days from now. If all goes as planned, puppies would be expected in early September and ready to go home around the end of October.

In working dog training, it’s not just about obedience or bite mechanics — it’s about how the dog thinks in new and changing environments.

We’re not creating robots.
We’re building dogs who can adapt, stay clear, and respond — not just react — when the picture shifts.

Raising a working puppy to be successful isn’t just about potential—it’s about sacrifice.
