🐾💙 Everyone, please welcome Duncan to the Basil’s Boutique family! 💙🐾

This handsome gentleman is 17.5 years young and is here with us for a special two-week stay! 🥰

Duncan’s pawrents wanted to make sure he had a calm, peaceful environment where he could relax and receive the extra care and attention he deserves, especially given his age and medical needs. And that is exactly what we are here for! 🏡❤️

Senior pups hold such a special place in our hearts. They often need a little more patience, a slower pace, more frequent potty breaks, extra monitoring, and LOTS of love—and we are more than happy to provide all of that for Duncan during his stay. 🐶💙

Let's talk about my friend, Monster. 💙🐾

Monster has boarded with us before and did wonderfully. This visit, however, we noticed right away that something was different. He was missing his mom, didn't have his usual appetite, and seemed a little withdrawn. Because we truly know our dogs, we recognized these changes immediately and stayed in close contact with his mom to come up with a plan together.

His mom sent along some tasty food toppers and a few favorite toys to help encourage him, and what a difference they made! Then we discovered something else... Monster LOVES water! 💦 We brought out the pools, and it was like watching a whole new dog. His confidence grew, his tail started wagging, he became playful, and before long, he was even making new dog friends!

We couldn't be more proud of Monster and the progress he made during his stay.

This is exactly what boutique care is all about. We don't believe dogs are "just another boarding dog." We pay attention to their individual personalities, routines, and emotions. If something isn't working, we adjust. We communicate with families, think outside the box, and do everything we can to help each dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

At Basil's Boutique, your dog isn't just a number—they're family. And we care for them the same way we would our own. ❤️

This sweet puppy is spending the day with us here at Basil's Boutique, and we couldn't be happier to have him! 💙 Pike has been enjoying making new friends, exploring, and soaking up all the fun that daycare has to offer. His happy, playful personality is already bringing smiles to everyone around him.

There is just something so special about Ruthie. ❤️

While she enjoys making friends with all kinds of dogs, she has an especially soft spot for the little ones. Her gentle, nurturing personality shines every time she's around smaller dogs and puppies. She seems to instinctively know how to be calm, patient, and kind, making them feel safe and loved.

There’s that smile again! 😍 Everyone say hello to our handsome friend, Jacko, who is back for another visit at Basil's Boutique! 🐾

Jacko is one of our special guests who enjoys having his very own safe space while boarding with us. He prefers people over other dogs, so we make sure he has exactly what he needs to feel happy, comfortable, and stress-free.

He gets to romp around in his own private play yard, soak up plenty of one-on-one time with Cait and me, and enjoy all the love and attention without the pressure of being around other pups.

And honestly... how amazing is that? ❤️ Every dog is different, and we love being able to provide personalized care that allows each one to thrive. Watching Jacko's happy smile says it all!

💜 Let's talk about my friend, Winni. 💜

Winni first came to us when we opened our doors back in 2024, and watching her journey has been so incredibly rewarding.

Winni is a very shy girl who can become reactive when she feels overwhelmed. Because of that, she needs a gentle, patient approach and an environment where she feels safe. We carefully match her with small, calm, peaceful dogs who respect her space and help build her confidence rather than adding to her stress. Ralphie, Maizey, and Daisy are the perfect match!! They are small, non-threatening, and help Winni build confidence.

Every dog is unique, and Winni is a perfect reminder that not every pup thrives in a large, high-energy playgroup. Some dogs simply need a quieter pace, thoughtful introductions, and people who understand what they're communicating.

That's one of the things we love most about what we do at Basil's Boutique. We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We take the time to learn each dog's personality, comfort level, and individual needs so they can enjoy daycare and boarding in a way that makes them feel secure and successful.

We are so proud of you, sweet Winni. Thank you for trusting us over the past couple of years. Watching your confidence continue to grow is one of our greatest joys. 🩷🐾
