Chocolate Roo up for grabs ! He will be so pretty ! I have too many chocolate Roos right now so have to part with him . He looks like has lighter spots but that is still soft downy baby fluff - he isn’t fully grown out yet .

When we add new grow outs to our coop, we put in this dog fencing with plastic netting around it . The netting keeps the smaller chicks in . We usually add them in in at least groups of 3 and this way the other chickens get used to them while they are still protected . Then we take the fencing away after a few weeks at night time . We have 3 grow outs in here. You can see our leader is watching over them to check them out. His favorite lady is also sitting on some eggs inside that house . Our silkies love these little dog houses to cuddle pile in at night . He is a good rooster. He often sits in there with her during the day and we have even seen him sit on the eggs when she goes to get a quick drink . We have never seen another rooster do that ! She is definitely the favorite of his . He won’t let any other ladies come in there to sit on eggs. As you can see one of our chocolate silkies is in the corner sitting on some eggs 🙂
