Peak View Ranch invites family, friends, fellow exhibitors, spectators and Shorthorn enthusiasts to pens 539 and 541 Thursday January 15th following the pen and EDGE Show at the National Western for walking tacos and hot chocolate. Bulls for April's Production Sale will be on display. They have changed a lot since they were weaned mid October. Come see them for yourself.

The Shorthorn breed has many elite donor lines but there is no doubt the Chelsie's of Stecks are among the best. Congratulations on their recent win at the NAILE. Peak View Absolute Value 24917 ET, a grandson of Chelsie 411B, came in as a 14 month old calf weighing 1440 pounds with a 3.5 pound WDA and earning Reserve Champion Division honors. Watch for half sibs from Peak View Ranch getting prepped for the pen show at NWSS.

Thank you Zane Martin and all the hard working crew at the NILE. Always a great well run show. Shorthorn numbers were higher than ever and represented the breed well. Peak View Ultimate Value and Peak View Bellodona were Reserve Champions in the bull and female shows. Congratulations to all the breeders and juniors that exhibited.

It's a good time to be SHORTHORN for the county and state fair run. Donavyn West started it off, winning Grand Champion Market Steer at the Arkansas Valley Livestock Show all breed market beef contest with a purebred Shorthorn steer. Today Peak View Ranch won Supreme Champion breeding female with purebred Shorthorn, Peak View Bellodona at the open breeding show at the Colorado State Fair in addition to Champion Shorthorn bull honors.
