🎓💜 FROM REACTIVE TO REMARKABLE — FRANKLIN IS OFFICIALLY A BEHAVIOR BOSS GRADUATE! 🐾
Some dogs come into training needing to learn how to sit or stay. Others need to learn that the world around them doesn't have to be so overwhelming.
Franklin was one of those dogs.
When we first met Frank, unfamiliar visitors entering his home were a major challenge. He struggled with heightened arousal, frustration tolerance, and the need to monitor or intervene in interactions around him.
With a bite history, we knew his training required patience, structure, and a carefully planned approach.
Over many sessions, we worked on obedience, impulse control, disengagement, confidence building, and structured introductions to unfamiliar people.
And little by little, Franklin started making different choices. 💜
Instead of reacting, he began learning to investigate, disengage, relax, and even seek positive interactions on his own terms.
Then came GRADUATION DAY! 🎓
Three people Franklin had NEVER met before arrived at his home.
And what happened?
HE WANTED TO BE THEIR FRIEND! 🥹💜
Frank voluntarily approached all three visitors, sought affection, and enjoyed being loved on! And with all that activity happening around him, he successfully held a 30-SECOND STAY without a single reminder
But here's the part I'm most proud of...
I DIDN'T HANDLE FRANK DURING HIS GRADUATION TEST
His owners did. From start to finish.
They demonstrated the skills, confidence, and consistency they've developed throughout his training. Because successful dog training isn't just about what a dog can do when the trainer is there.
It's about what the dog and their family can accomplish together. 💜
Franklin's journey isn't over. His family will continue reinforcing his training, respecting his boundaries, and building on his progress.
Franklin, you worked hard for this one, buddy. I couldn't be prouder of you and your family! 🎓💜
Congratulations, Franklin! You're officially a BEHAVIOR BOSS GRADUATE!
🐾 Tell your dog I said hi.
