Dear Serenity Mobile Veterinary Care families,

I wanted to share that I will be away for the month of June after being given a truly unique and meaningful opportunity to participate in mission-based veterinary work with a nonprofit clinic on the beautiful island of Nevis.

While serving families and their beloved pets here at home is always a priority, I am incredibly honored to spend this time helping provide veterinary care to animals and communities in need abroad. It is an experience I feel deeply grateful for, both personally and professionally.

I will not be scheduling in-home euthanasia appointments for the month of June while I am away. I encourage families who may need assistance during that time to reach out to my wonderful and trusted colleagues at Peaceful Passing or Angel Wings Vet Services - Dr. Lauren Kruse.

Thank you all for the trust, kindness, and compassion you continue to show me and the families I serve. I look forward to returning in July and continuing to support your pets and the people who love them most.🩷🐾

With love and light,
Dr. Krystle

Please hold Barney and his sweet family in your thoughts. Thank you, Barney for your service and being a bright light to all those who knew you! 🩷🐾

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our beloved Parkview Pups, Barney "Bam Bam" Berry.

Barney’s handler is Matt Berry, manager, Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement.

Every Halloween since 2016, Matt and his family have celebrated Barney’s "gotcha day," and he often shared the story of how this special dog joined their family.

Barney was dumped over a shelter fence just hours before Matt and his wife, Jess, also a Parkview co-worker, were scheduled to meet another dog. But the couple immediately knew he belonged with them. Though he was a terror at first, chewing everything in sight, Barney quickly became the heart of their family.

That wild, goofy pup grew into a steadfast source of comfort for our Parkview co-workers. Since the duo’s first rounding as a Parkview Pup team in October 2023, co-workers always knew Barney was ready to work when they saw his signature “little excited hops” – an expression of his love for the staff he visited. Whether a co-worker was navigating a tough shift or just needed a moment to breathe, Barney was there to carry the weight and offer unconditional love.

Thank you, Barney, for every hop, tail wag and moment of peace you brought to our staff. You will be missed beyond measure. We are endlessly grateful to Matt, Jess and their children for sharing their best friend with us.

Parkview Pups is a popular benefit program, providing co-workers with visits from highly trained, certified therapy dog/handler teams. Funded in partnership with the Parkview Health Foundation, Parkview Pups helps brighten co-workers’ days and boost well-being.

To all the pet families who had to say goodbye to a beloved pet in March, my heart is with you.

There is no easy way to let go of a companion who gave you unconditional love, greeted you with joy, and who became part of your everyday life. Choosing euthanasia is one of the hardest, most selfless decisions a pet owner can make.

Grief like this is real. It’s deep. And it deserves to be acknowledged.

Run free, sweet souls. 🐾 You were loved beyond words and will be missed forever.

Serenity Mobile sends out special condolences to the families that allowed us into their homes and to be a part of such a tender moment.

💕Sending love to the families of Rosie, Luna, Bentley, Ashe, Gertie, Kletus, Pete R., Sugar, Nessie, Armani, Cady, Gracie, Trinity, Nessy, Amber, Louis, Rocko, Athos, Precious Freedom, Rocco, Blue, Brooklyn, Pippin, Aspen, Howie, Pete H., Scarlet, Ace, Boston, Sir Lancelot, Mei Ling, Indiana, Indi, and Abigail.
