It all started when my husband was deployed, and our sweet Pomeranian, King, was nearing the end of his journey 🥺. During that difficult time, I realized the immense comfort and joy animals bring to our lives. That's why I created Whiskers&Wags – to pour my passion and love for animals into caring for your beloved pets while you're away. Knowing how much our fur-babies mean to us, I wanted to create a service that offers peace of mind and genuine affection. And here's something that makes it even more special: every single earning goes directly towards my own fur-babies' PayPal fund, helping with Christmas surprises, essential vet appointments, fun activities, their everyday needs, and even those unexpected costs when we PCS. Hailing from the charming little town of Washington, North Carolina, I grew up in a bustling family as the sixth of eight children. With five brothers and two sisters, there was never a dull moment! When I'm not spending time with family, I enjoy expressing myself through writing poetry, diving into a good book, and exploring the beauty of nature on long walks. A true animal lover at heart, I've always had a soft spot for creatures in need, providing them with the nourishment and care they need to thrive. Currently, my home is filled with the joy and companionship of one dog and three cats, each bringing their unique charm to my family with my husband. 🏡❤️🐾

✝️I wanted to share something else I’m incredibly grateful for: God’s blessings, the path that led my husband and me to our Pomeranian, King, and the precious extra time we were all given together. Even when King fell ill, Heavenly Father granted us that time, awaiting my husband’s return home from deployment for those two weeks of hazmat school. Those extra days, those extra two weeks, together were such a blessing. The love and memories we made will stay with us forever. 🥹 💟 🐾🐾

His happiness is not just a fleeting emotion; it’s a constant, radiant presence that fills every room he enters. His stay began with an enthusiastic greeting, a wagging tail that thumps against the furniture, and a pair of eyes that sparkle with genuine joy.

What sets Link apart is not just his cheerful disposition, but also his impeccable behavior. Caring for Link is not just a job; it’s a privilege. His presence brings warmth and light into my day, reminding me of the simple pleasures of companionship and unconditional love.
