Happy “fur”iend Friday!

Hank the Tank ❤️🐾

This sweet boy crossed the rainbow bridge on Tuesday afternoon after battling congestive heart failure. While our hearts are heavy, we wanted to honor the goofy, loving, ball-obsessed boy we were so lucky to know.

Hank never turned down pets, always had love to give (as long as you came to him), and absolutely adored his sister Willow 🐶💕 He was stubborn in the best way possible and loved being carried up the driveway after daycare… which was always quite the workout for me! (all 80 lbs)😂❤️ Whether he was carrying around his favorite ball or soaking up the sunshine, he brought so much joy to every room he walked into.

We are so thankful to Sarah for giving Hank such a beautiful life full of love, comfort, adventures, and endless affection. He was truly cherished every single day.

Run free sweet Hank the Tank 🌈 You will always be part of the NoCo Pet Retreat family and deeply missed by all of us. ❤️

After a full day of zoomies, wrestling, chasing friends, and soaking up sunshine, the crew is officially OUT 💤🐶

Nothing better than a room full of happy, sleepy pups after a fun-filled day at NoCo Pet Retreat ❤️

Safe to say daycare was a success today 🐕✨

Lots of sunshine, splash time, zoomies, and patriotic pups today ❤️🤍💙 The daycare crew is officially paw-triotic and VERY ready for naps after the full day of fun 😂

Happy “fur”iend Friday!

Introducing OLIVER!

Equal parts lover boy, playaholic, and professional escape artist!

Like many pups, Oliver struggles with separation anxiety, and we’re committed to helping him feel safe, confident, and comfortable while away from home. During one of our crate-training trials, this determined guy managed to collapse the kennel door, escape, and even chew himself a little “window” through the wall before greeting us with just his head sticking out 😅

While it definitely gave us a moment, it also reminded us how important patience, management, and individualized care are for anxious pups. Every dog is different, and we’re always learning what helps each one succeed best.

Oliver is truly the sweetest boy, and we’re so proud of the progress he’s making. We’ve got you, Oliver 🐶💛

Happy “fur”iend ☀️

Introducing my very own, REESE.

Reese’s story started in New Mexico, where we found him, alone in a Walmart parking lot-underweight, scarred, and unsure of the world around him. Everyday things like doorways, noises, and even indoor spaces felt overwhelming.

Fast forward to today… after years of patience, structure, and consistent training, Reese has completely blossomed. From being leash reactive to becoming one of our all-stars on walks, he continues to amaze me every day (and might even outshine my Doberman on walks!).

Now he spends his days making friends, helping new pups build confidence, and being a steady presence here at NoCo Pet Retreat 🐶

So proud of this boy and how far he’s come. Rescue dogs truly have the biggest hearts 💛

“Fur”iend Friday 🐶

Today we’re honoring sweet Annie 💛

Annie was part of the NoCo Pet Retreat family for almost 2 wonderful years, and she left the biggest paw print on all of our hearts. She was the sweetest girl, the very best sister to her pup sibling, Evie, and a friend loved by everyone who met her.

Annie adored her humans, could never get enough pets, and loved soaking up the sunshine☀️🐶

Her gentle spirit, loving personality, and happy presence will always be remembered here at NoCo. We miss you dearly, sweet girl, and are so thankful for every cuddle, tail wag, and memory you gave us 💕

Happy Monday from the pack 🐾☁️☀️

What a fun day catching little bursts of sunshine through the clouds! The dogs have been all smiles and tongues out - running, playing, and soaking up every bit of fresh air they can get.

Mondays like this are the best kind of reset: happy pups, good energy, and a full day of play to kick off the week right 💛
