Hello, 2025! It’s been a bit, my lovely fiber arts friends. Hope you all had an enjoyable holiday season/ end of 2024 and a delightful start to the new year! I have been MIA from social media for many months now, as 2024 was a challenging year in many ways, both for myself, and a number of people close to me.

But, I’m still here, still dyeing, still serving the best yarn customers on the internet!

I have a goal to be much more engaged in my online communities this year, but also many self-care goals. I was diagnosed with panic disorder back in April and that forced me to learn for the first time what true self-care actually is.

My journey has served to remind me why I fell in love with fiber arts to begin with. It’s a relaxing, rewarding, peaceful distraction to a life that can otherwise be very chaotic.

Please let this be a gentle reminder that your life and health are worth more than perfection and deadlines and your next big business goal.

May our best and brightest “Works in Progress” this year be ourselves. 💚🩵💙💜

Sometimes, I can’t resist snapping photos of your orders before they head out the door because I can’t quit admiring your color selections! This was a “create your own kit” order in Pima cotton (best cotton in the 🌎) and they ordered 2 of every color! Stunning, am I right?! 💚🩵💙

Feeling like my taste in favorite color schemes is pretty consistent. 💛💚🩵💙💜 These coasters were handmade by rescued victims of human trafficking. Every year our church sets up a market during January, Human Trafficking Prevention Month. A great opportunity to support the cause of freedom for victims of these crimes around the world and a great reminder of the role the fiber arts community can play in helping to create jobs and financial stability for those that escape or are eventually rescued.

There’s nothing quite like running a small handmade business to keep you on your toes! The new DK weight pastels went from brand new to nearly sold out in a few short days so I’ll be working to restock those… the fi*****ng weight bamboo cotton minis made their debut later than I’d hoped but they’re available now! If your New Year’s resolutions included more time for handmade hobbies, then I’m glad the inter-webs brought us together. Kick off your shoes and stay a while. ☕️ ☀️

Oh, hey there, friend! Hope your new year is off to a great start, after a blessed holiday season. And if it wasn’t everything you dreamt it would be, I hope you are still finding light ☀️ and reasons to be grateful.
2024 is comin’ in hot over here and I have OH-so-many things I want to accomplish this year, both personally and professionally. If I haven’t said so in a bit, I’m glad you’re here. Let’s make it a goal to inspire one another in the coming year and brighten the days of those around us, shall we?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I truly admire people who sell products mostly at in-person events! 2 in 3 weeks about did me in 😂. I LOVE getting to meet customers and other business owners but man is it tiring to prep this much product and set up/ take down/ manage everything. I owe my boyfriend Tom and my sister Jennifer both a huge debt of gratitude for all of their help, not to mention friends and family who come to events and/or encourage my business incessantly. Wrapped up my last market of 2023 this afternoon and good news for deal-hunters, I made ALL kits in my Etsy shop (and there’s over 20 of them) 20% off through tomorrow night at midnight… pretty sure this is my one and only sale of 2023, so get in on it while you can and capitalize on me being well-stocked for once. 😂 Also look for these pastels (see photos) to be listed online in the next week or two, they are breathtaking and I have them on 2 bases!

Local friends, mark your calendars! I’m excited to finally be doing another (my second EVER 😂) in person event this year and it’s on Small Business Saturday, no less! I’m busy stocking a variety of yarn gift sets and kits and can’t wait to meet those who can make it! If you think this yarn looks great online, wait till you see it in person. 😍😍 I attended , a single-day event, last year and knew I needed to be a part of it. The businesses and variety of products are incredible. I will plan to raffle off another kit this time around so come see me to throw your hat in the ring for it!

They call this “Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day” but I miss you every day, Sweet Mo. Sending warm thoughts and hugs and prayers to anyone with a pet-shaped hole in their heart. May we rejoice in the legend of the rainbow bridge, and the hope that we’ll see them again one day. Special shout out to anyone who’s purchased a “Mo’s Rainbow” yarn kit these last couple years. The donations through this kit have helped some special local pets at Big Bones Canine Rescue with health and emergency rescue needs, most notably, helping a little Frenchie named Louie get a much-needed brain MRI. Mo would be so proud!
