Raise A Glass Ranch Raise a Glass Ranch is a small private boarding and breeding facility located in Forsyth Georgia

Raise a Glass Ranch is going to be temporarily closed starting May 21st 2022, as we will be relocating to the east coast. Time for another round of Mare Stare! Annie is looking ready to go soon. So what will it be, a filly or c**t? Will she give us a black this time or another bay? Will the baby have Liam’s dark front leg or Annie’s “eye brow” blaze?

The monitor is on, the cameras are positioned… and Paul is out of town this time. Let’s go, Annie!

Looking for a name related to Mount Rushmore (or South Dakota in general) for this one, since Annie was my Vacation Mount there early in this pregnancy. Let’s hear your suggestions!

Please join us in raising a glass to Liam’s newest c**t Rogues Excel Ink! This adorable little guy is out of Debra Sweezey’s Mina, and everyone at the vet clinic adores him already!

I’ve been lax in posting Alex videos! He’s doing great! Super friendly and a joy to watch. Here’s a few minutes of evening itchy-places time in the barn.

In a heartbreaking morning delivery, Regal presented with a red bag (placenta separated from uterus before delivery rather than after) and although we were there for every minute and tried with all our might, we were unable to save the filly. We are so thankful for the help of our neighbors and our wonderful vets who worked alongside us.

Regal is healthy and will be a good auntie to the rest of this season’s foal crop.

As promised, Cali and Alex got to go out to the roundpen today for turnout time and Alex really enjoyed stretching his legs! He hasn’t got those long limbs completely organized yet, but he sure is having fun anyway!

I’ve got a name! With my bold and adventurous nature (and the two-leggers also said something about my human mom spending the week at the Post Office Academy), I’ll be registered as Raise A Glass Pony Express. Around the barn you can call me Alexander or Alex, in honor of both a founder of the pony express and also Wendy’s first Dalmatian. I haven’t seen these Dalmatian things yet, but I hear they’re a cuddly bodyguard and we’re gonna be friends.

Look for videos of me soon! One thing I’m not is camera-shy!
