One thing I love to talk about is cat socialization. We hear a lot about socializing dogs, but it's just as important for our feline friends.

When cats are introduced to other cats slowly, positively, and at their own pace, they can become much more confident and experience less stress. A well-socialized cat is often better equipped to handle new people, environments, and other animals, making life a little less scary and a lot more enriching.

Of course, not every cat wants a feline roommate—and that's okay! But for many cats, having a trusted companion can provide comfort, play, and even peaceful moments like sharing a meal together.

Watching Catalina and Hermies enjoy each other's company is a sweet reminder that friendships can blossom anywhere 🩷🐾

Lily is enjoying one of her favorite treats—a duck foot! While they might look a little strange to us, they're a fantastic natural chew for many dogs.

Duck feet are naturally rich in glucosamine and chondroitin, which help support healthy joints and cartilage. They're especially great for active dogs, seniors, or pups who could use a little extra joint support. As a bonus, many cats enjoy them too!

This sweet senior Great Dane is currently looking for her forever home, and she's every bit the gentle giant people say Danes are. Despite her size, she's mostly interested in naps, soft beds, and soaking up love.

Giant breeds often have a reputation for being intimidating, but the truth is they're usually some of the biggest babies you'll ever meet. They love being close to their people and have hearts that are every bit as big as they are.

If you've ever considered adopting a senior dog, Barcelona is a beautiful reminder that older pups still have so much love left to give. Let's help this sweet girl find the family she deserves. ❤️🐾

💦 When the temperatures hit the triple digits, our pets rely on us to help them stay safe.

This happy pup is living his best life with a hose, but it's also a great reminder that dogs can overheat much faster than we do. 🐶☀️

A few hot-weather reminders:
💙 Keep fresh, cool water available at all times.
🌳 Make sure they have shade—or better yet, bring them inside during the hottest parts of the day.
🐾 Limit walks to the early morning or late evening, and always check the pavement before heading out.
💦 A sprinkler, kiddie pool, or hose can be a fun way to help them cool off while getting some exercise.
