Okay okay okay… we know Biscotti could use a little glow-up ✂️✨— but she’s getting that fresh spa day when she’s spayed! In the meantime, we just couldn’t wait another second to share this sweet little muffin with the world. 🐾💕

At 4 years old and fun-sized, Biscotti is pure sugar. She lights up the room with her happy little hops anytime someone new walks in, and all she really wants is a lap to call home and a heart to love her back.

We’re still getting to know her, but she may do well with another friendly pup too! Stay tuned for the makeover—but don’t sleep on this gem. She’s already beautiful inside and out. 🍪💖

Avalon just landed at the shelter, so we’re still getting to know this handsome 3-year-old Akita — but so far, he’s giving calm, cool, and collected. 😎🐾

He walks like a total pro on leash and keeps it classy with his aloof vibe (can you blame him? New place, new smells, lots to take in!). We think he might do well with another dog, but we’re letting him settle in before making any promises.

Liberty is the definition of cool girl energy 😎🐾 This 7-year-old Shepherd is calm, collected, and totally unbothered by the chaos around her. She’s more of a “vibe in the shade” kinda gal than a “run wild at the park” type—but don’t get her wrong, she’ll chase a ball… she just won’t bring it back 😅

When it comes to other pups, she’s all about peaceful coexistence. No drama, no nonsense—just side-by-side strolls and good energy. A chill dog friend might be her perfect match!

Big news! 🐾
We’re thrilled to welcome South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter (SJRAS) to the Associated Humane Societies (AHS) family! Starting July 14, 2025, SJRAS will officially join our network—expanding AHS services into Cumberland County and growing our impact across New Jersey.
With shelters already in Essex, Monmouth, and Ocean Counties (including Popcorn Park Animal Refuge), this new addition helps us reach even more animals and communities through adoptions, animal protection, and outreach programs.
Together, we’re stronger—and we’re just getting started.
