Whew 😥 it's hot out side!!!
As the school year starts back up. Let's not forget our riding partners. As the fall then winter approaches now is a great time to have there teeth taken care of.
Has your horse started any of the below listed issues.

Dropping feed
Dropping weight
Abnormal chewing
Bad Oder from the mouth
Excessive saliva
Nasal discharge
Or has it been over a year from the last time they had dental care.

Sharing this from another amazing dentist Josh Wallace. The break down is so important.

Horse dental maintenance is one of the cheapest input costs you have when figured on a per ride/day/training session basis-

Here’s the expense breakdown, using round numbers for ease of calculation, (although we all know the variables of prices and quality) by breaking it down into input costs of basic business economics…
Let’s say you as an owner put your horse in training, and the trainer charges $1250 a month. The trainer probably rides your horse 25 times per month, so that’s an investment of $50 per ride/training session. Now from that $50 per ride the trainer has to supply stabling, bedding, feed, hay, tack, trailers, trucks, arena, facility, etc.
The farrier shoes your horse every 6 weeks, and charges $200, which comes out to approximately 37.5 rides/sessions per shoeing, which equals $5.33 per ride for your shoeing expense.
The horse needs his teeth done at least every 6 months, and let’s say that charge is also $200, which comes out to 150 rides/training sessions per dental equilibration, which equals $1.33 per ride for your dental expense!
Also consider your horse from 2-5 years old will shed 24 baby teeth and grow in 36 permanent teeth. All during the main ages that we are asking them to develop their skills and athleticism, while using their heads to balance their bodies, without flipping their nose in the air or pushing on the bit. And yet it’s still one of the most “Out of sight, Out of mind” problems that still plagues many horses.
Add to that the level of competition today, and the difference of your horse competing at 85% vs 100% of their ability, and then ask the question- “What’s one point on my score worth? What’s one tenth of a second worth?” Sometimes it’s a very expensive difference!

You can drive your truck a long time without changing the oil, but after ignoring the little things long enough and valves start rattling, you have some big problems.

Well, summer's here, now that we are all back riding, let's think about getting on the books to make sure that there oral healthcare is taken care of.
We ask a lot of our Equine partners let's do the best we can to make sure they're comfortable while riding and eating.
Limited availability for June and the start of July.
If your Horse is having trouble with the below issues
Head tilt while eating

Difficulty bridling
Hard to maintain weight

Now that the Pastures are starting look nice and green, let's have a look at the pearly whites of our Equine partners. As spring comes into full swing and we get back into that saddle, let's make sure our horses are ready too. Having a yearly exam and routine dental care can help our equine partners stay in the game even longer. Just a few things that point to the need for dental care.

Well we have a road trip on the books, going through CO, WY, ID, MT for my ID friends I will have someone for you to reach out to to get on my book in June right now leaving Texas June 23rd plan to be in ID by the 25-26 and staying till July 1st. Then to MT and down so start reaching out now and I will get the books filled.
