We are a foster-based rescue dedicated to saving homeless, abandoned or unwanted animals in danger of death, abuse or neglect. Hi everyone!

Just as a little background on us, Sarah and Jules, we are originally from Pugh Zoo Rescue. Sarah founded Pugh Zoo and ran it from 2014 to 2019 after fostering and volunteering for other rescues for several years. Jules was one of her best fosters and volunteers during that time. Over that 5yrs span thousands of lives were saved but sadly personal issues arose which forced a closure. Two years lat

Meet Beatrix! ❤️

Beatrix is an 8-month-old, 25lb wire-haired terrier mix with a heart as big as her personality! This fun girl is a true social butterfly who’s always ready for an adventure — whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, a car ride to visit the latest festival, or just hanging out with her favorite people.

Beatrix has done wonderfully with the kids and other dogs (with proper introductions) in her foster home. She’s best suited for a family with dog-savvy cats, since she thinks feline friends are lots of fun to chase and play with.

When the day’s adventures are over, Beatrix transforms into a total snugglebug. She loves nothing more than curling up beside you — or right in your lap — for some quality cuddle time.

Like all puppies, Beatrix will benefit from continued training to help her become a well-mannered family member. She’s already doing great with potty training and sleeps soundly in her crate through the night.

Beatrix is spayed, microchipped, up to date on preventatives, deworming and vaccines with an adoption fee of $450. 🐾 Meet Sid!

This handsome 4.5-month-old German Shepherd puppy is as sweet as he is smart! Sid currently weighs about 25 lbs and is steadily gaining — his appetite is fantastic, and he’s well on his way to reaching a healthy weight.
Sid is still very much a puppy, which means he’s learning the ropes of the big world one day at a time. He’s working on crate training and may whine for a bit when first settling in, but he quiets down with routine. His potty training is going great, though he’s still a baby and can’t be left alone for long stretches just yet.
Sid has done wonderfully with kids, gets along with cats, and enjoys spending time with other dogs. He’s on the shy side at first, so he’ll need a patient family who will give him time to build confidence. He’s incredibly affectionate — a total cuddlebug who just loves to snuggle.

Meet Bella – Your New Best Friend!

Bella has been waiting far too long for her happily ever after—can you be the one to give her the loving home she deserves? This sweet, playful 4-year-old had a rough start living for over a year in the local shelter and now with her current Fairy Tails Rescue foster home for two and a half years. She’s ready to start a new adventure with a family to call her own!
Bella is an energetic, lovable girl who adores playing ball and snuggling up with people, especially kids. Bella’s big bark might initially sound intimidating, but it’s just her way of saying hello—once she gets to know you, she melts into a sweet, affectionate companion who just wants to be loved. After settling, Bella is the poster child of the term “house hippo”. She loves to lounge in the house and the yard just watching the world go by. She is very motivated and will do most anything for a treat. Bella does well with other dogs when introduced slowly and would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. She’s not destructive and can be trusted to roam the house freely, but she’s also happy to hang out in her crate if needed.
This cutie has so much love to give and is eager to please, she just needs someone willing to give her a chance. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and devoted best friend, Bella is the girl for you! She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is ready to go home. Isla 🥰 patiently waiting for a family of her own…😌

ISLA is a 4 year old Shepard mix that is currently 45lbs and has about 5-10 more lbs to go to be at full weight. She was living on the streets of Baltimore-for at least a year before arriving at a local shelter where we rescued her. Isla was extremely emaciated and has been steadily gaining weight since mid- May. Isla is the sweetest, friendliest girl that likes everyone she meets. She is great on a leash and loves to take car rides. She also loves to be outside and can be left for an extended period of time.
Isla enjoys the freedom of being able to roam the house when left. She does not bother or get into anything. Isla has been good with other dogs while in our care and we believe she would enjoy a housemate, that likes to play. When walking with Isla she gets very excited when she sees another dog and wants to meet it. She needs reminders that she can not meet and play with every dog she sees.🥰
Even though she is 4 years old we feel she would do best in a home without small children; she likes to be first-which means she may step on or bump into anything in her path like a small child. If you are looking for a loving companion that is easy to have around and wants to be your best friend-then this is the girl for you!!!!!
