Ab Initio Farms is located on the North shore of Lake Ponchartrain, 50 miles north of New Orleans in Folsom, Louisiana. Ab Initio Farms is one of a handful of farms in the Folsom equine community that specializes in breeding high quality Danish warmbloods. In particular, Ab Initio is the home of Pari Lord, a direct descendant of the famous Pari Damline of Denmark which is regarded as the world’s 1

0th most successful dam-lines in producing dressage horses. Our goal is to maintain the superior standards of the Pari Dam Line through a selective breeding program. By choosing the highest quality sires in both the United States and Europe, our goal is to produce complimentary traits for the future offspring.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pari Lord ERDH 5302. Progressing complications associated with inflammatory airway disease, anhidrosis and the unrelenting Louisiana summers forced us to make decision that were in her best interest. She has been the soul of our farm for the past 13 years, always the queen of the pasture. Pari was awarded her Elite mare status in 2013 and leaves behind quite a legacy. While at Ab Initio Farms she had 9 foals:

Paparazzi and Kalie Beckers had a big weekend at the Le Bon Temps dressage show.
On Saturday they won their training level class on with a 72.9% and rocked it on Sunday, with a 70.9 and a 74.7 to win training level champion and the high point award!
