It breaks my heart to say that tonight I had to say goodbye to my sweet baby Bella. The veterinary team at MSU said that with kittens this young, it is almost impossible to get an exact diagnosis or a cause. She had complete loss of reflexes and use of her back legs. The vet said she had almost no a**l or tail tone. It likely could have been from a spinal cord injury (nothing happened all day with her so she doesn’t suspect that with no know cause of injury) or something congenital. Young kittens do not tolerate treatment very well and the vet advised that the best option for Bella was to send her home to heaven. Unfortunately, Bella bit one of the staff when they were caring for her. So her body could not be released to me and I will not get to bury her. This breaks my heart almost worst of all. I did not get to be with her in her final moments. I got to say goodbye to her and love on her one last time. I hope you felt loved my sweet little girl ❤️ I’m sorry I couldn’t save you
