Alum Ridge Welsh Ponies Alum Ridge Welsh Ponies is in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. We produce pure and crossbred sport ponies with Liseter Eagle as herd sire.

It is a natural setting for the Welsh Mountain Pony to develop its rugged health and sensible personality. Our ponies are raised in a natural habitat with pine forests, open fields, and streams, so they have a trail sense about them so valuable to a field hunter or trail pony. We use natural horsemanship methods as we bring the ponies along in their training to work on the flat, jump and drive. Ou

r ponies have played major roles in the lives of their owners as confidence builders, embassadors to the horse world and "soul mates." We are pleased and fulfilled that our ponies have touched so many lives for the good.
