Location: Floyd County, Virginia — nestled deep in the Appalachian hills
Land Size: 11 wild and wooded acres
Status: Semi off-grid, currently evolving into intentional community
Open to: Long-term settlers, seasonal work-traders, tiny home builders, creatives, and dreamers

🏡 The Vision

We’re building a simple, sustainable life in the mountains — together. This land is raw, real, and ready for transformation. Whether you’re experienced in homesteading or simply drawn to a slower life in community with nature and good people, there’s space here for your hands, heart, and ideas.

We are not a religious community, and we hold no collective spiritual or religious beliefs. We value open-mindedness and celebrate diversity. All individuals are welcome, including LGBTQ+ folks and anyone drawn to respectful, inclusive living.

🔧 Our Setup (and What’s Possible)

• Power via grid connection + fiber WiFi
• Water from the creek and rain, piped into the main house for shower, laundry, and kitchen
• Outhouses or compost-style toileting — DIY encouraged
• No zoning restrictions, so creativity can flourish
• A few housing options with potential (1 bus, 1 camper, 1 tiny home)
• Hillside terrain with lots of trees and building spots for tiny homes, campers, vans, etc.
• Sawmill on site — ready to process timber for construction
• 45 minutes from Floyd, Roanoke, and Christiansburg

🌱 What We’re Looking For

Folks who:

• Want to live simply, with purpose and heart
• Respect the land, value community, and enjoy creative freedom
• Might contribute skills like gardening, building, permaculture, off-grid systems, or simply shared presence
• Are open to a co-created lifestyle, whether that means a temporary stay or sinking deeper roots
• Believe in kindness, inclusion, and building together across differences
