⚠️ VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED ⚠️

The following footage contains an EXTREMELY intense playgroup.

We're talking Hollywood-level suspense.

We're talking edge-of-your-seat action.

We're talking... Franklin.

Hidden deep within the wilderness, Franklin quietly sits and waits for his prey. His black-and-white camouflage blends seamlessly into the surrounding greenery. Silent. Patient. Calculating.

Completely unaware of the danger lurking just feet away, Khysi innocently attempts to initiate play with... Franklin the Goblin.

Will she survive this terrifying encounter?

Will Franklin unleash his legendary goblin powers?

Will there be dramatic music?

🎬 You'll have to watch and find out.

(Spoiler alert: there was no actual danger, we were just kidding)

THE JAYNE H. BOSWELL CORRECTIONAL FACILITY FOR GOOD BOYS

INMATE: Remy
Booking Charge: Being homeless.
Sentence Served: Long enough.

Remy would like everyone to know that he has officially served his time... and he is OVER IT.

"The food's okay, the guards are nice, the recreation yard is decent... but I'd really like to stop sleeping in a concrete room." – Remy, probably.

When Remy first arrived at the shelter, he came in with another dog, scared and heartbreakingly skinny. Life hadn't been kind to this sweet old gentleman. But thanks to good meals, kind hands, and a whole lot of love, he's filled back out—and now all that's missing is a family.

Every morning he wakes up hoping, "Today's my bond hearing." Every evening he realizes... nope. Another night behind kennel bars.

Let's be honest—this senior citizen has paid his debt to society for the terrible crime of existing without a home. He deserves a soft bed instead of a kennel floor. He deserves backyard sniffaris instead of scheduled yard time. He deserves someone who calls him their dog.

His prison record is squeaky clean:
* Excellent manners
* Professional treat inspector
* Expert-level couch companion- we predict
* Gives the kind of love only an old soul can
* Does ok with other dogs that are calm

So we're asking the jury (that's you) to deliver the only verdict that matters:

RELEASE REMY IMMEDIATELY.

No more prison naps. No more waiting. No more watching other dogs get bailed out while he stays behind.

Be the hero who posts his bond with an adoption or foster application.

Apply today at florencehumanesociety.org/adopt

Please SHARE, cross-post, and tag everyone you know. Somewhere out there is the family that will finally tell Remy, "You're free to go home."

NEWS FLASH: Local grandmother escapes retirement community... immediately asks where the snacks are.

Meet Eunice.

Eunice didn't exactly arrive at the shelter living her best Golden Girls life. She came to us heartbreakingly emaciated, looking like life had forgotten to be kind to her. But with good meals, gentle care, and lots of love, this little granny has slowly blossomed into everyone's favorite neighborhood sweetheart.

Every day, she waits patiently for her favorite volunteer to arrive so they can take their leisurely promenade down the shelter trail. No marathon training. No zoomies. Just two souls enjoying the scenery at approximately 0.5 miles per hour.

After her walk? You'll usually find Eunice stretched out on the lobby floor like she owns the place, quietly supervising the puppies as they create absolute chaos. She politely greets every visitor who walks through the door—as if she's the official Walmart greeter of the Jayne H. Boswell Animal Shelter.

Her days of sprinting through the house, chewing your shoes, and launching herself off the furniture are behind her.

But her ability to love you?

Still operating at full capacity.

She's an expert in cuddles, tail wags, gentle companionship, and—perhaps most importantly—locating anything remotely edible. Treats? Yes. Snacks? Absolutely. If it smells delicious, Eunice would like to formally volunteer to help you dispose of it.

All this sweet little granny wants is a soft bed, a family to adore, leisurely walks, and a retirement home where she can finally rest her tired old bones surrounded by love.

If you've ever thought, "I wish I could skip the puppy tornado stage and go straight to the loyal best friend," Eunice has been waiting for you.

❤️ Apply to adopt Eunice today at florencehumanesociety.org.

Please SHARE, cross-post, and tell all your friends about our sweet little granny. Let's give this precious old lady the peaceful retirement she's earned.

There are dogs that arrive at the shelter because they got lost...

And then there are dogs like Zephyr.

At just 10 months old, Zephyr has already experienced more hardship than any puppy ever should. When he arrived, he weighed only 25 pounds. Every rib showed. Every vertebrae told the story of a puppy who simply didn't have enough food.

The heartbreaking part?

That was all he needed.

❤️ Food.
❤️ Safety.
❤️ Kindness.

In just three weeks, Zephyr blossomed from 25 pounds to 37 pounds. His eyes grew brighter. His tail started wagging. The scared, hungry puppy transformed into the happiest, silliest boy you'll ever meet.

Now you'll find him doing what every puppy should be doing—running around the play yard with his dog friends, soaking up the sunshine, and reminding everyone that life can get better.

Zephyr has figured out that people can be kind.

Now he just needs someone to prove that families are forever.

He's the perfect mix of playful and relaxed—happy to chase his buddies outside, then equally happy to settle down and enjoy your company. He's goofy, affectionate, and somehow makes everyone smile the moment they meet him.

The hardest part of Zephyr's journey should already be behind him.

Let's not make him grow up in a shelter.

You need Zephyr in your life. And if you can't adopt him, you can still help change his future.

* Share this post.
* Cross-post it to your local groups.
* Tag your friends and family.
* Help Zephyr find the home he's been waiting for.

One share could be the reason this sweet boy finally gets the happy ending he deserves.

BREAKING NEWS FROM THE KITTEN DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM...

A few months ago our phones were ringing off the hook...

"Do you have any kittens?"
"When will you get kittens?"
"I've been waiting FOREVER for a kitten!"

Well...

🎉 WE HAVE 131 KITTENS. 🎉

One hundred.
Thirty.
One.
..and suddenly everyone has become suspiciously quiet.

Did y'all form a secret "We'll Wait Until Fall" club? Did the kittens hold a meeting and forget to invite the humans? We have questions.

These tiny chaos goblins are professionally trained in:
Sprinting through your house at 2 a.m.
Judging your life choices from the top of the refrigerator.
Turning cardboard boxes into luxury condos.
Stealing your heart forever.

And here's the best part...

Adoption Fee: $85

That includes:
Spayed or neutered
Vaccines up to date
Microchipped
Dewormed
Current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention

Yes, cats can get heartworms too! Mosquitoes don't discriminate—they can transmit heartworms to cats just like they do to dogs.

So...where are all the people who were begging for kittens? 🤔

They're here. 131 of them. And every single one is convinced they're the one you're coming to meet today.

BREAKING NEWS: Scientists have officially confirmed there is such a thing as the perfect-sized dog.*
(*Scientists may or may not actually be shelter staff... but we're standing by our findings.)

Meet our Medium Squad—the Goldilocks dogs of the shelter.

Big enough to join you on hikes.
Small enough that they won't accidentally clear your coffee table with one happy tail wag.
Strong enough for adventures.
Compact enough to fit on your couch... and somehow still convince you that you should squeeze into the last six inches.

They're not "too much dog."
They're not "too little dog."

They're just right.

These pups are the perfect fit for today's families, apartments, houses, kids, road trips, Netflix marathons, backyard zoomies, and everything in between. They come with goofy personalities, endless love, and absolutely zero understanding of personal space.

Side effects of adopting a medium-sized dog may include:
Finding fur in places you didn't know existed.
Laughing daily at their ridiculous antics.
Never going to the bathroom alone again.
Having a permanent four-legged best friend.

So if you've been waiting for a sign...

This is it.

Come meet the dogs who prove that sometimes the best things in life come in the perfect package.

**** We have GREAT news!!!! Due to the overwhelming response- Sweet little Kellen has been Placed! Stay tuned for updates! Please check out our other available animals online to find your next best friend... who just may be in our very next post! ****

Once upon a Monday, a very small dog named Kellen set off on what historians would later call...

"Probably not my best decision."

He was discovered by Animal Control bravely marching down the side of a road, looking like he had absolutely no idea where he was going... but fully committed to getting there anyway.

After arriving at the shelter, Kellen decided there was only one logical thing to do:

Become the toughest dog in the building.

He puffed out his tiny chest.
He perfected his "Don't mess with me!" bark.
He stared at everyone like he paid the mortgage.

For a few days, he had everyone convinced he was a rugged outlaw.

Then...

Someone reached down, scooped him up into their arms...
..and the mighty warrior instantly transformed into a warm, wiggly little marshmallow.

Turns out, underneath all that "tough guy" attitude was just a tiny dog in a very big world who wanted to feel safe.

Now Kellen is looking for the one thing he's been searching for all along—not another road to wander, but a couch to conquer, a lap to claim, and a family to love.

Come meet Kellen at the Jayne H. Boswell Animal Shelter
