🚨 Florence Animal Shelter - Benny & Jet

PET HOMES ONLY

Benny (larger one) & Jet are male mini pigs less than a year old. Both are still intact as they are both cryptorchid and require a more invasive surgery to be neutered. Each surgery costs $300-500 and the shelter has no budget for that!

These boys need donations to cover their surgeries and of course ADOPTERS!

🐷 Donate via for the pigs!

Please share and help if you can!

🚨Florence Animal Shelter pigs still waiting on homes! PET HOMES ONLY

These 3 girls have been at the shelter since winter! They’re all very sweet and friendly.
The 2 larger girls (Linda & Kathy) came in together, but do not like each other so they have to be adopted separately. However they get along with other pigs just fine. Beatrice is the smaller black pig and she has stayed behind while all of her babies were adopted out. 😞

They have not been spayed but will not be adopted out to be used for breeding!
We are happy to help get them adopted in any way we can. If you have questions about these girls, please DM us or comment here. If you can’t adopt, please share!

🚨 FUNDRAISER FRIDAY! 🚨

Help us fill up our feed bins!
Our donations are extremely low right now 😔
I know that the rising costs of gas and everyday expenses are a struggle for everybody right now and we can definitely relate! We work full-time jobs in addition to running the sanctuary and we are always looking for ways to cut back on unnecessary costs.

Our feed bill averages $500 monthly. We recently posted a fundraiser for a grain bin, which could lower our costs of food tremendously by being able to buy in bulk!
If everyone donated a small amount, we could raise the funds in no time!

Here are some ways you can help our sanctuary:

A few weeks back we did a pool fundraiser and I LOVE these new pools we were able to get! We may have to go back to Tractor supply just to stock up for extras to have on hand, these are so great!
Thank you to those who donated ❤️

Pigs are so entertaining to watch 😄

📢 FUNDRAISER for a feed bin❗

https://donorbox.org/feed-bin-fundraiser

Help us purchase a feed bin so that we can buy food in bulk and cut our animal feed costs almost in half!

Full Belly Farm has been rescuing animals since 2016 and became an official 501c3 nonprofit in 2020. We have committed to providing forever sanctuary to the 50 animals that reside here. We rarely do large fundraisers or ask for more than a small donation or sponsorship. With the increasing cost of materials, we have to look at long term operating costs and see where we can improve the budget, without sacrificing quality of care for the animals. Many animal sanctuaries have struggled to be sustainable. Our goal is to never ask for more than what we need and to not take on more than we can care for.

We have price shopped and crunched numbers and have decided it is time to look at purchasing a grain bin. The best price we found is $4,000 for a 5 ton bin. This would allow us to buy animal food in bulk at $345/ton, which would cut our feed bill substantially!

Also, not having to pickup and unload 50lb bags of food on a regular basis would save time and energy that could be better spent with the animals.

We currently buy 14 bags of food every 10-14 days. Each 50lb bag is $13.50. We go through 1 bag a day for the 37 pigs at the sanctuary. We can cut this cost down to $8.75/day with a feed bin.

Our first delivery of food would be $1155.00 for 3 tons, which is why we are hoping to get enough donations to cover the cost of the bin and the 1st food delivery.

Any amount you can donate, will be extremely helpful and appreciated! We know this may take some time to raise enough donations.
Please share and spread the word on what we do!
