Hana and I entered the "Just Groom a Poodle" contest with Poodle Club of America at Purina Farms in Gray summit. I wanted to take this opportunity to work on and practice setting a pattern under a time limit. This time, I am working on learning the German trim on Hana. I like this trim because while it is a lower maintenance trim, it is still very stylish. This trim requires me to learn precise sc******ng in how to set the chest, the legs, and topline, to create the desired angulation and sleek, blended look. My goal is to learn how to set this trim so it fits Hana's frame and efficiency in executing the trim. Hana will be turning 8 years old this year, and I want to limit the amount of time she has to stand on the table. It has been over 4 years since Hana and I have competed in a grooming competition, so I did not have any high expectations for this one. My main goal was to have fun with my girl and learn. We did both! I have a couple more competitions planned this year and will post updates as we continue our journey together.🩷🐩
