Loyal Dog Supporters,
We wanted to update you on the progress of placing our dogs. For the last few months, our dedicated dog volunteers, along with a few former volunteers, have been working together to find appropriate rescues willing and able to take in our special pups. As you probably know, many rescues are full and financially stressed, so this took time and much consideration.
Our number one priority was to ensure the safety and security of our dogs and their future. Our hope was that they could all go somewhere together or at least in packs. It was equally important to us that they have ongoing and easier access to veterinary care and potential foster homes. While our pups have been seeing a few different veterinarians for the last two years, we no longer had access to our mobile vet.
Thankfully we found a couple of rescues who were willing to help us with our dogs. However, one rescue in particular had the capacity to take all of our dog house pups and one foster pup into their program. Additionally, they have a very secure facility, certified trainers, and easy access to veterinary care.
Our volunteers worked very closely with the new rescue to ensure the transition and transfer went smoothly for our pups. Our team packed their toys, bedding, treats, and beds. We made new kennel cards listing all of their favorite things so their new friends would know all of the super important facts about every single one of them!
We have dedicated ourselves and our love to these pups as though they were our own for many years. Now we look forward to seeing the continued progress our dogs will make at Bark Nation.
Thank you for your support,
❤️ The Pups and
Their Dedicated Volunteers
