This season is rolling right along and we can’t thank our fellow hunters enough for entrusting us with their trophies! If you have dropped something off to us this season and we have received a deposit, we are pleased to say it has already been started by our taxidermist Joe.
Also, we have been receiving a lot of questions about hide preparation services. Yes, we do offer this service which is a requirement of many tanneries to accept hides for soft tan for leather. This preparation process involves complete hide fleshing, salting, and we personally drop your hide off to Sebring Tannery with all your info! After they are finished it provides a great way to preserve your hide forever and gives you many options to remember your hunt like various leather products from many local makers (boots, wallets, purses, etc), or even hang on your wall. Hides are typically dropped off every 1-2 weeks. We also have a book of many color options including some not on the website we are happy to show you or take pictures of.
As always, with the season comes many questions or people wanting to prepare before they go out so they can ensure everything is properly cared for so they can get exactly what they want! Feel free to call us, text, message us, etc any time!
