A dangerous snow and ice storm is forecasted for this weekend, along with extreme cold temperatures that can quickly become life-threatening for animals.

Snow, ice, and freezing temperatures significantly increase the risk of injury, hypothermia, and death for pets and outdoor animals left without proper shelter.

❄️ Please take action now:

Bring pets indoors whenever possible

Outdoor animals must have:

Sturdy, insulated shelter

Unfrozen water

Adequate food to help maintain body heat

Check on neighbors, especially elderly pet owners, to ensure their animals are safe

Before starting your car, tap the hood and check underneath—cats often seek warmth there during extreme cold

⚠️ If you see an animal in distress, act immediately.
Cold conditions can become deadly in a very short amount of time.

Hi. My name is Kane and I have trust issues with groomers.
It's been a few times now that Jess came to visit me. I can be super stubborn when im unsure. One time it took 20 minutes to convince me that getting on the table was an okay idea but then I just jumped back down .. Today, not only did I get on the table like a good boy, I got in the bathtub ALL BY MYSELF. I also followed the "up" and "turn" commands she's been teaching me.
Best part, because I'm already home, I'm just a few steps away from my treat jar.

I hope all of your mom's and Dad's find a groomer that will work with you dispite your insecurities and make you feel safe.

A delayed post due to the busy holiday season:
In 2025, with all of your support and amazing generosity for our pet toy drive we collected:

Over 200 dog toys
Over 100 cat toys
4 cat scratchers &
Several collars and treats

A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED!!

We were able to share the love with two of our local shelters and there were plenty of happy tails and smiling hearts!

We would like to continue and make this an annual event, running throughout the Holiday season!!

From all of us at Gone to the dogs and our little helpers, we hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
We look forward to working with you all in 2026

Believe it or not..
We are only 9 weeks away from Thanksgiving and 13 weeks away from Christmas!
Holiday scheduling is already in full swing. As mobile groomers, we need to be extra strategic on route planning in order to accommodate everyone!! If you haven't already booked your holiday appointments, reach out to your favorite groomer to set those up..
