✨ Well, hello there, Dexter! ✨

Apparently, this handsome face was hiding under all that hair! 😍

Fun fact: Dexter is a German Wirehaired Pointer, so this transformation wasn’t created with a quick shave-down. His coat was carefully groomed by hand using a process called carding. 🖐️🐾

What is carding? It’s a detailed technique that removes the loose, soft, dead undercoat while leaving the protective wiry topcoat intact. This helps preserve the coat’s natural color and texture while giving it a cleaner, tidier finish.

It takes patience, skill, and plenty of attention to detail—but just look at that transformation! Dexter went from shaggy and scruffy to sleek, handsome, and ready to show off that adorable pumpkin bandana. 🎃🧡

🐾 Peace of mind is part of every appointment at 8:27 Grooming. 🐾

When you drop your pet off for grooming, I want you to rest easy knowing they are in knowledgeable, caring and capable hands.

I am committed to continuing my education and maintaining the skills needed to provide the safest experience possible. I have been certified in Cat and Dog First Aid through the American Red Cross, and while I hope I never have to use that training, being prepared matters.

Throughout every appointment, I closely monitor each pup’s behavior, comfort and stress level. If I ever believe continuing a service could compromise their well-being, the groom will stop. No haircut—no matter how beautiful—is more important than your pet’s health and safety.

Your pup is never “just another appointment” at 8:27 Grooming. They are a beloved member of your family, and you can leave knowing they will be cared for with patience, knowledge and the same attention I would want for my own pets. 🖤🐾 Because, by the way… I LOVE your pet too! ❤️🐾

Because luxury grooming isn’t only about how beautiful your pup looks—it’s also about how safely and lovingly they are cared for.
