Great spotlight on the amazing owners of Furry Land 👏👏

Kat and Michael joined Furry Land with the goal of building a retirement revenue stream—and they’ve already grown to a team of five employees, a milestone they’re incredibly proud of. With a background in franchise consulting, they knew exactly what to look for in a strong brand, and becoming Furry Land owners has only strengthened their expertise. One of their biggest successes so far has been finding the perfect manager and expanding their operations with a second van.

Their advice for new franchisees? Be persistent—building a business takes time and commitment. To grow locally, they’ve focused on outreach to vets, shelters, and community events like the pet-friendly “Wag O Ween.”

For Kat and Michael, the most rewarding part of this journey has been creating meaningful jobs and forming a team that feels more like family. As they look to the future, they’re focused on fully booking their second van and preparing to add a third!
