Not grooming related. A rehoming post ๐
This is Boโฆ heโs about 1.5 year old Great Pyraneese mix (maybe Anatolian) who is looking for a new family/ranch. I had pulled this handsome guy from a high kill shelter in So Cal. He was adopted into a family with goats and heโs been too excited around the littles with kidding season. Heโs an all around great dog. Respects 4ft fence, does well with other dogs as long as heโs introduced correctly and not just thrown out with them, does well with adult goats. He does need to be fed seperatly and given treats seperatly if other dogs around as heโs not a fan of sharing. If youโre interested in adding him to your family (does not need livestock, just some yard) and have a protection dog, this guy could be for you ๐ heโs an old soul kind of dog and only barks when needed and will stop barking once you let him know all is good.
For those that donโt knowโฆ I also run a non-profit rescue for livestock guardian breeds. This is Tyler. Heโs estimated to be 1-1.5 years old. I pulled him from a kill shelter in Southern California a few weeks ago. Heโs now ready and looking for his new family. As you can see, he loves dogs, kids, and people. He was picked up as a stray so I donโt have a background on him. If you think heโd make a great addition to your family please let me know ๐ a rehoming fee does apply to off set some costs as I did get him neutered. Vaccines are current as well as him being microchipped. If thereโs plans on him being used as a livestock guardian dog, he will take time, patience, and continued training.
A โcotton ballโ dog lolโฆ had some time to give a couple of my own dogs a bath today and this guy sure was blowing his under coat ๐
