Music to the ears of any horse person are the words that will be heard today echoing throughout the Ohio Expo Center... "Welcome to The All American Quarter Horse Congress!" For so many of us, those words still ring fondly in our memories in the voice of the late, great "voice of the Congress,” Keith Bradley.

Steeped heavily in tradition, The Congress is a place where dreams dance with reality and legends are made. There is a magic in the fall Ohio air that is simply unmatched. The finest horses, trainers and exhibitors in the industry unite for an event that compares to no other; it is after all the largest single breed horse show in the world. Lifelong friendships that span thousands of miles are forged here on one common thread; the love of our American Quarter Horses. Any horse related or western lifestyle product from ordinary to extravagant is here for you to see, buy, or dream about "someday." The fairgrounds looks like a real-life "Land of Oz" to any horse person. It is simply mesmerizing.

It's the sound of horse shoes clip-clopping on the blacktop. It's the feeling of jogging through that gate or swallowing your heart back down into your chest while stepping up to that first cone. It's the emotion of winning one of those coveted medallions or that unmistakable bronze trophy and hearing your name echo throughout the fairgrounds. It's the late nights. It's the early mornings. It's the 3:00 am rides. It's the frosty breath of your horse on the longe line. It's the thrill of fierce competition. The crisp air. The sights. The sounds. The smells. The friendships. The dreams. The great times. The memories. The traditions. It’s THE Congress!
