My name is Shauna Rae Parks, I go by my first and middle name. I was born in Florida, grew up in Ohio and have been living in NC for 11 years now. I married my best friend John in September of 2023. We have two dogs and three indoor cats with 7 outdoor cats. I have always had love for all animals, my four brothers and I grew up around dogs at all times and when I was 15, I started working around h

orses and fell in love. I traded work for western riding lessons and even did a year in 4-H up in Ohio. I have also volunteered around the area here when I can for Appalachian Wildlife Refuge, Wands for Wildlife and Horse Sense of the Carolina’s. I have been pet and house sitting on and off my whole life for friends and family. October 16th, 2022, was when I decided to start a part-time business doing what I love the most, being around animals. August 1st, 2023 is when I decided to take the leap to make this my full-time job. I am super excited to meet your family and become one of the pack! My main goal is to have several families I pet sit for regularly. I am certified in cat/dog CPR through the Red Cross and a proud member of the Fairview Business Association. What a week with these guys! Finished an 8 night overnight with Sulley, Felix, Percy and Phoebe! We played, we cuddled, there were baths given and a whole bunch of treats! Most of all a lot of love! ♥️🐾🐶🦴🤠

I have 14,000 photos on my phone. 13,500 of them are my dog. And I'm not even exaggerating. My camera roll is DOMINATED by pictures of him. Sleeping. Playing. Sitting. Walking. Literally just existing. My favorite category? Weird sleeping positions. I have HUNDREDS. Dog upside down. Dog with his legs in the air. Dog twisted into a pretzel. Dog half-falling off the couch but somehow comfortable. Each one is PRECIOUS and I need documentation of all of them. My friends complain about their phones running out of storage. Mine is full because my dog made a funny face and I took 47 photos of it. People collect shoes, purses, watches - I collect memories of my dog. Because one day he won't be here, and I'm going to want to remember EVERYTHING. Every silly moment. Every weird position. Every expression. I'm building an archive of his life because he's the most important thing in mine. So yeah, I take too many photos. I have an embarrassing amount of storage dedicated to one dog. I show people pictures they didn't ask to see. But I'm documenting every moment with my best friend. And when he's gone, I'll have thousands of memories to look back on. That's worth way more than a collection of shoes.
