Not all days go to plan. Often im battling against months or years of excessive growth for whatever, reason.
My nail lines aren't as straight or high as other farriers.
Im working on donkeys and minis and all the others that the ol seasoned farriers dont want to mess with.
Horses that have 0 manners
Leaners and stiff legged horses
I have my handful of amazing horses, God ty!
I still hit my hands with my rasp and sometimes knife.
I take longer than the seasoned farriers

BUT

I will return a phone call
I will point you in the direction if I cant do it
I will be honest
I will take my time & do it correct
I will keep my word
I will listen and give feedback
Ill show up

The list goes on and on... some days are just mentally taxing. In this profession its very easy to give it your ALL yet come home and wish you did this or that differently..and worry yourself over what "bob" said about your work. Blah blah.

Ill continue to Keep my head down, talk positively, learn and put myself in unknown territory and out of my comfort zone to continue to gain experience and knowledge.

Someday ill be that seasoned farrier. 🫡

Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends until summer is over only availability I have.

Text or call. God Bless.

Call, text or PM. God is good and will continue to be given all the credit for how far I've come my future is bright because of him.

Started with a blown out abcess hole, false sole, white line issues, thrush and folded over bars. This left hoof was 2x the size as his right.. it was a combination of everything he had going on. Today he has the same size hooves! We've come a long way!

Im so happy with the progress we've seen and I love watching this boy walk off licking his lips and not tender.

I can't imagine a life without horses, thankyou God for giving us such a beautiful creation!

It starts with the owners. Noticing something isn't right and listening to their horse. Staying persistent with their vet and allowing a farrier to help along the way. You can see positive change and in return a happier more comfortable horse!

Thank you Tasha for sharing and thank you for trusting me with your boy. I love seeing him playful and rambunctious.

First picture he didn't want to walk and was tender.

Video was of her calling him and he came trotting over.

Two days learning Large Animal Emergency Resuce techniques. (TLAER)

The class went over SO many different things. Trailers, wiring, barns, fires, wrecks, freak accidents, how to handle the situation, euthanasia (all types of ways) rope slings and how to place them so the large animal doesn't get further injury..and various ways to maneuver around obstacles like mudd and barriers. How to transport the down horse and so on!

Highly recommend you finding this class and participating sometime if you own large animals, want more knowledge, work around animals or own a rescue. It was very beneficial.

Thankyou De'Anna for securing me a spot! I'll never turn away from gaining more knowledge!

Pretty interesting and neat to work on a Hackney.

This boy was a stallion the first time I trimmed him and you would have never known!

He is a show hackeny and moves so beautifully.

Such a small leather pad and shoe but we got it done.

& I know he walked away better than I found him..

Long over due! Happy to say we got him and his brother back on the schedule for future trim appointments.

Treated for thrush. Hoof putty used in small cracks.

Working for you Lord, spreading your love to each client one hoof at a time.

Call, text or message if you need farrier work!

Happy Friday!

Setting a shoe correctly is SO important. I like to check everything twice before hammering in more nails.

Nice shoe and wedge pad. DIM support. A little thrush treatment and whiteline protective. 6 weeks when I pull this off to re set I should have a nice sole and frog to work with!

Fun video for this Friday!

I couldn't do this without my supporters, teachers and clients!

God Bless.
