Owning a pet comes with a lot of responsibility but life does get busy and we tend to forget the easiest things. As the weather gets better, definitely get outside more and get their energy all burned out, especially if you have a new puppy!
This will provide the best socialization and keep your pet healthy while getting all those treats for being such a great family member ;)
We love our four-legged friends
It's National Dog Biscuit Day and its time to celebrate!
Make sure to give your bestfriend a treat for this observance!

Happy Late Valentines Day from the ASVC team! We are not open from Friday-Monday so we really took the time to love and appreciate our little valentines :)
We are moving slowly to appointments only so we can provide the best care in a timely manner for your furry friends. They are a big part of your life and deserve all the love and care from everyone.
We are seeing a lot of fleas this year and want to avoid that at all costs for your pet as it can cause shaking of the head, being inflamed around the skin and even change their happiness. Please come in and pick up some flea medication when you can to make sure your pet is happy and ready to be outdoors, (especially if they love the outdoors!)
Text us at 206.693.0338 for appointments or medication pickup.
This month is National Cat Health Awareness but we all know that everyday should be about your cat's health!
What are some things you can do that will help make your kitty as healthy as it can be?
Get your cat vaccinated! This is something that is super important for their health whether they are indoor or outdoor cats. There are so many things to know when owning a cat and making sure they are up to date and protected is so crucial for healthy living. We send our vaccine reminders through email now, so make sure we have that on file for you when you come in.
Keep their teeth clean! We recommend occasional teeth cleaning to prevent from infected teeth that can make your kitty not want to eat food or lead to other health problems. Schedule a dental exam with us for more information!
Keep your kitty active and cuddle them too! We all know that some cats aren't the biggest cuddlers but they do love the affection! (On their terms) They also love to play with toys you can buy or anything made at home as well. Keeping them at a healthy weight can increase quality of life!
You can schedule a wellness exam with us for your cat to ensure that they are doing great all around and living life to the fullest :)
We hope the start of everyone's week is going well!
Just a reminder that we are now accepting appointments Tuesday-Thursday. Vaccine appointments will start at 9am and go until 4:45pm and exam appointments are in the afternoons starting at 1:30pm until 4:45pm.
We now use a texting system to make appointments, the number is 206.693.0338. Let us know what you need done and we will reply as soon as possible. We are now a full service clinic as well and do exams too.
(For a sick pet/wellness exam, it will be $50)
Thank you for all the patience for working with our new system and we look forward to seeing you and your pet soon!

Have a happy 4th of July with pet safety tips
🐶Get your pets inside well before it gets dark. Even outdoor cats should be brought inside for the night. Make sure they are safe from loud noises and flashes of light while inside.
🐱If you know that your pets are startled by loud noises, have someone stay at home with them if you end up leaving the house to celebrate the holiday.
Close up your house - scared animals are great escape artists and will find a way out.
🐶To lessen the startling boom of fireworks, leave on the TV or radio for background noise.
🐱Make sure your animals are wearing ID tags and if they're microchipped that the information is up to date.
🐶Contact a veterinarian before the holiday if you believe your pets should be tranquilized
🐱If you do lose your pet, don't wait to start looking. Knock on doors, call your local shelter and check Craigslist.
