We want to take a moment a congratulate Dr. Caitlyn Burke on her graduation from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine today!

Dr. Burke spent the month of March with us this year as part of one of her senior clinical rotations. We all loved having her in the clinic and seeing her skills grow.

Meet Munchkin, Our Brave Little Snorter!
Today we had the pleasure of helping sweet Munchkin the Boston Terrier breathe a whole lot easier! She underwent a nasal wedge resection—a special surgery (also known as rhinoplasty for pups!) that helps open up her nostrils and improve airflow. Dr. King loved helping her breathe more easily!

Brachycephalic breeds like Munchkin are prone to narrow nostrils and breathing issues, but with this simple procedure, she’s already showing signs of easier, more comfortable breathing. After her surgery, she got lots of snuggles from Adalee and the rest of the staff. She’s recovering beautifully at home tonight and will be back to her playful, zoomie-loving self in no time!
