Day 17 of Trickmas 🎄
🎶 Jingle Bells, jingle bells… 🔔

Today’s trick is Jingle Bells — teaching your dog to boop a bell with their nose!
This is a fun way to build confidence, focus, and purposeful nose targeting (plus it’s very festive).

✨ Training tips:
• Start by marking any nose movement toward the bell
• Reward tiny wins before waiting for a full boop
• Keep sessions short and jolly

Who else has a dog ready to ring in the holidays? 🎅🐾

Day 15 of Trickmas 🎄
🧝‍♂️ Elf Delivery Duty

Teach your dog to hold and carry an item—just like Santa’s most reliable elves! This skill builds confidence, focus, and teamwork while giving your dog a fun “job” to do.

✨ How to train it:
1️⃣ Start with a light, easy-to-hold object
2️⃣ Mark and reward for holding
3️⃣ Add a step or two before rewarding
4️⃣ Slowly increase distance and duration

🎁 Perfect for carrying toys, leashes, or spreading holiday cheer!

🎄 Day 14 of Trickmas: Building a Snowman ⛄
No snow required ❄️
“Building a Snowman” is all about teaching your dog to push a ball forward using their nose or paws. This trick is a great intro to object interaction and problem-solving, and it’s a festive way to keep dogs busy when it’s cold outside.

🎄 Day 13 of Trickmas: Sneaking a Peek at the Presents 🎁
Who can blame them? Those presents are very tempting 👀
This trick is a crawl—keeping your dog low and slow as they move forward. It’s a great way to build body awareness, impulse control, and focus.

🎁 How to train it:
1️⃣ Start with your dog in a down
2️⃣ Lower the treat to the ground
3️⃣ Slowly lure forward, rewarding for staying low
4️⃣ Keep it short and fun—this one takes strength!

Perfect for curious pups who just have to see what Santa brought 🐶✨

🎄 Trickmas Day 12: Jump for Joy — Santa Is Here! 🎅✨

Today’s Trickmas trick is a jump OVER an object—perfect for building confidence, body awareness, and thoughtful movement (not chaos jumping 😉).

In today’s video, we’re using a broom handle set nice and low so dogs can succeed safely.

✨ Trainer Tips:
• Start with the bar on the ground and reward stepping over
• Raise height gradually — low and slow wins the race
• Use a neutral object (like a broom handle) that will fall if bumped
• Skip jumping for puppies, seniors, or dogs with joint concerns

This trick should always feel fun, optional, and adjustable for the dog in front of you 💚

🎄 Day 11 of Trickmas: The Candy Cane Cha-Cha! 🍬💃

Today’s trick is all about side stepping — a fun, fancy footwork move that helps your dog build body awareness, coordination, and balance. Plus, it looks adorable enough to steal the holiday spotlight. ✨

Whether your pup shimmies left or scoots right, every little cha-cha is a win! Show us your dog’s sweetest side step and tag us so we can cheer them on. ❤️🐾

✨ Trick of the Day: Candy Cane Cha-Cha
❄️ Skill Focus: Rear-end awareness + coordination
🎁 Difficulty: Beginner-friendly with a little practice!

❄️ Day 10 of Trickmas: Santa’s Snow Shuffle! ❄️
Today we’re teaching your pup how to back it up like they’re giving Santa a little extra room to land his sleigh! 🚂🎅✨

Backing up is a fantastic skill for building body awareness, confidence, and coordination—plus it’s adorable and super handy in tight holiday spaces (like when you’re trying to wrap gifts and your dog is… helping). 🎁😉

Show us your dog’s best Snow Shuffle and tag us for a chance to win prizes and maybe even a Trick Dog title!
