Here at PK9, we are all about helping our community in any way we can. We are gearing towards helping shelter animals receive necessary training to ensure a good home come 2026! We offer free training to pets at risk of rehoming or surrendering to shelters, and many more resources!🤩
Here we have a very special girl who's looking for her forever person. In order to increase her odds of not ending up in a shelter, we have a special once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we are offering FREE training FOR LIFE on this girlie🥰 That's easily a $7,000+ value for FREE😱
Her owner had unfortunate circumstances arise, and felt she couldn't fulfill the dog's needs, so she's exhausting all her options to help her furbaby out😇
Here's a little bit about her story: She's a black lab mixed dog. We think possibly some kind of hound, but not sure. She’s almost 4 years old. Spayed and vaccinated. Looking for someone very experienced with dogs. A trainer would be a plus. She has very high anxiety. We can’t take her places due to her anxiety. She doesn’t like car rides. She’s not leashed trained. We’ve tried taking her places she just cries and has extreme anxiety. We have tried medications, and they don’t seem do much. We aren’t home during the day due to work so she’s home alone a lot and we just don’t have the time for her that she deserves, or the knowledge to help her thrive more.
She is such a sweetheart and super affectionate. She loves cuddles. She gets along with house cats and other dogs. She is good around little kids. Has never been aggressive. A fenced yard would be amazing for her to run around.
She does great in her kennel. She doesn’t chew on stuff or anything like that. Her biggest flaws are her anxiety, scared on car rides, and not leashed trained. We aren’t going to just rehome her to anyone. This is a gut wrenching and extremely hard thing to do but I do feel it’s what’s best for her so she can have a better life. She doesn’t have a great one now with the limitations. It’s unfair. We will not surrender her to a shelter.
