My next demo is tomorrow at !!

This Saturday, 11/29, join Chrissy Bernards of Moon and Hare Collective in making her seasonal apple ginger coleslaw! 🍎🍯 Crunchy cabbage, sweet apple, and sharp ginger come together in a slaw that’s bright without being fussy. A quick toss with honey and cider vinegar keeps it tangy and fresh. It’s the kind of side that works anywhere—tacos, BBQ, or straight from the bowl when you need something crisp.
Demos start at 11 and 12 inside the Pavilion, and are FREE to attend.

About the chef: Chrissy Bernards is the educator, artist, and writer behind Moon and Hare Collective, a space for seasonal and creative living. She shares practical resources and stories like cozy recipes, herbal know‑how, block prints, zines, and gardening notes that connect daily life with seasonal rhythms of cooking, crafting, and growing.

I really want to get back to block printing, but sometimes other things have to take precedence.... like Tuesday, when I had 2 rotisserie chickens and then I found another carcass in the freezer along with all my frozen veggie ends and bits.... so I made 3 giant batches of broth. 3 days and 47 pints later... I think it will last for a while! The chickens also made 8- 10oz bags of cooked chicken in the freezer for nights when I just can't.
