Prancer needs help! You all know we are primarily a cat shelter. But we also have other rescued animals in our care, including Prancer, a miniature horse who has now developed a serious problem with walking and stiffness in his legs. You can see him walking in this video, but this was after he had pain medication this morning.
If he doesn't have medication, he can hardly walk. We really hope we can find a solution that will help him, and we need your help. We had the vet out to check, and they believe he might have Lyme disease and want to take a test tomorrow. Then send it to the university for results. His treatment is going to be very expensive, and we could sure use some help with it.
So please, if you can send even a small donation, we would greatly appreciate it ❤️

J.J needs some good thoughts and prayers today. He hasn't been himself lately. He's going to the vet this morning. Let's hope it's nothing serious. He is a little old guy with arthritis and has thyroid issues . We hope he'll be OK.🙏🏻

This past weekend we had to say goodbye to our oldest hen. We called her chicky chick. She showed up here about 12 years ago pretty beat up. We didn't even think she would survive, but she went on to live 12 years. She outlived three roosters and numerous other hens. She would take the other hens to safety up into trees. whenever she thought there was danger in the area . She was a tough bird and we will miss her.
