This was shared to us. Perfect this is why we are what we’ve done and will continue to do no matter hard the journey. And in the end life is good.

The last 5 days I’ve questioned every single decision I’ve made.

ICSI – $1,500
Embryo implant – $500
Recipient mare lease – $3,500
Stud fee – $6000
Feeding the mare for almost a year – $1,500
Then an ICU bill that costs more than the stud fee…

All that money.
All that time.
And you can still end up with nothing.

The financial hit is a punch in the gut. I won’t lie about that. But giving up would cost me more than any of those checks ever could.

People see the sale ads.
They see the baby pictures.
They see the “congratulations” posts.

They don’t see the empty stalls.
They don’t see the vet trips.
They don’t see the losses.

Here’s the reality — if you own livestock, you have dead livestock.
Live cover, AI, ICSI, foaling in a barn or out in the pasture… it does not matter.
Risk is part of it.

For me and my team, we will continue.
Not because it’s easy.
Not because it always works.
But because we believe giving up IS NOT AN OPTION!

I believe God always has a plan. Even when I don’t understand it. faith is the only reason I don’t let hard days make permanent decisions.

If you’ve ever wondered why good horses cost what they cost — this is part of it.
The unseen risk.
The unseen loss.
The checks written that never turn into a foal.

This industry will humble you quick.

But we’re not quitting, neither should you!
