I have a small collection of western sidesaddles and I haven't been able to find a lot of history on this one. It's marked JB Griswold Baker City Oregon. Does anyone know about this maker?

Jumbo brand. Anybody have experience with this brand? Value, quality, etc?

This is a McClellan saddle. It was first produced for the US War Dept in 1859 and has been used by the Calvary up until WW2. Early versions were rawhide covered but yours is covered in leather. They are fairly common but do have some value when complete and in good condition.
Just came across this saddle and was wondering if anyone had any information about it? It does say 11inch saddle on one of the buttons. Thanks in advance!

Anyone have any guesses on the maker?
Hi everyone I am looking for what brand this saddle is. I got it in a trade for doing a clients wedding photos. I found the serial number but no name brand and I am very curious as to know what I got. Tried looking up the number but I can't find anything..unless I am doing something wrong.

Definitely old! Any experts on the early-mid 1800’s saddles? I have some ideas but would love to hear from some of you more knowledgeable collectors.
Can anyone tell me any thing about these saddles, I was told the black one is dated 1825 silver rush, it was a gift from the owners great great granddaughter

Love this! Nicely done Storm.
The saddle I learned to ride on 50 years ago. Was my fathers and likely my granddad’s too. No markings. This seemed like a fitting tribute to a saddle well used and a bit abused. I plan to add some photos of family riding on it!

Any info on this one? I think late 1800s, early 1900s for age. Sound correct? No makers mark that I could find but some really cool tooling. She's definitely a decoration piece only at this point. Value possibly?

Update 2: I was informed that apparently the only saddle maker in Vancouver was Storey Pacific. Does anyone have any insight into that??

Eugene Noble was a saddle maker in Heppner, Oregon in 1906 (from what I’ve read online). Very limited information and I can’t find any pictures of other saddles he made or anything besides a couple obituaries.

Anyone familiar with Double H Saddle of Elko, Nv? This saddle has the running snake tooling as seen on some of the Garcia saddles.

I’ve had this saddle for about 40 years. It was at least 20 years old when I got it, making it a 1950’s or 1960’s model. Horse head on stirrup leathers and a W with a saddle in the middle on the bottom of one side. No name anywhere. Does anyone have any knowledge about these saddles they would share?
Trying to find info out about this saddle! I know about the manufacturer but that’s about it. When I try to find saddles by them there isn’t a whole lot of them for sale or information about the saddles themselves. I don’t know if anyone knows anything about Power River Saddles but I would love to find more out about it. I tried to find a serial number but couldn’t find one anywhere. There is what looks to be a stamp for a year buy the only number eligible is a 9 I know they started making the saddles in the 1930’s but other than that I don’t know anything.
Curious if anyone might have knowledge or can point me in the direction to get knowledge on this saddle. Has a long horn brand on the right fender no other name or mark other then.

What does anyone know about this maker?
I had never heard of P.A. Wilkerson until I got this saddle about a year or so ago. I was told it was an ‘old mule saddle’, though I don’t have a mule and have been using it on my mutton withered BLM Mustang gelding instead.
If anyone knows anything about it, how much do you think it’s worth? It definitely needs a good cleaning, new fleece, and I’m sure there’s pieces missing or something. Still, it rides 3-5 days a week on average and holds its own just as well as, if not better than, my newer saddles! And without having to break in the seat! 😏
