Sweet Loki is back at Bekah’s Bark B&B! 🐾❤️

And let’s just say… he did not need an orientation. 😂 He came back, got himself settled, and before long was snuggled up with me on the recliner like, “Ahhh yes. My people. My chair. My regularly scheduled cuddles have resumed.” 🥰

One of my absolute favorite things about having our furry guests come back is seeing how quickly they settle right back in. Loki clearly remembers that this place comes with plenty of love, a cozy spot to relax, and apparently unlimited recliner snuggles. 😂❤️🐶

Homeschooling may be back in full swing around here, but that doesn’t mean our furry guests miss out on all the love and attention! 🐾❤️

Today, Liam was curled up with Dudley while we watched a video about Ancient Egypt, and while you can’t see her in the picture, Madyn was stretched out on the floor right below them. 😂🐶

Around here, our guests become part of the daily chaos—I mean, routine. 😉 Whether we’re learning about history, reading living books, taking breaks, or just snuggling on the couch, there is always plenty of love to go around.

Because at Bekah’s Bark B&B, your pups aren't just given a place to stay... they get to be part of our family while they're here. ❤️🐾

One of my sweet boarding families surprised me with this beautiful basket of fresh produce today, and my heart is just so full. 🥹❤️🥕🍅🥒

I’m continually reminded that Bekah’s Bark B&B isn’t just about caring for dogs. It’s about the wonderful people I get to meet along the way, too. 🐾

This was such a thoughtful and generous gesture, and I’m truly blessed by the kindness of my boarding families. It means more than they probably realize. ❤️

Fresh produce, happy pups, and kind people… I’d say that’s a pretty wonderful combination! 🐶🌱

❤️ Celebrating My Husband Today ❤️

Today is my husband’s birthday, and I’m feeling especially grateful for the life we’ve built together.

We were blessed to be able to go to church together as a family this morning, and there was something really special about beginning his birthday that way—together, surrounded by the people we love and giving thanks for another year of his life. ❤️

After church, I made one of his favorites—blackened chicken Alfredo—and my MIL, who is visiting, made the most beautiful birthday cake. It looked almost too pretty to eat… although we definitely managed. 😂🎂 And it was every bit as delicious as it was beautiful!

Birthdays can be simple, but sometimes those simple days are the ones that mean the most. Good food, family gathered around the table, laughter, a beautiful cake, and the man I’ve shared so many years of life with sitting beside me.

I’m so thankful for my husband—not just today, but for all the ordinary days, hard days, crazy days, and beautiful days we’ve walked through together. He works hard, loves his family deeply, and is such an important part of everything we’ve built—including this crazy little home filled with kids, dogs, and plenty of chaos. 😂🐾

So today, the Bark B&B is taking a little backseat while we celebrate the man who makes this home what it is.

Happy birthday, my love. ❤️ I’m so thankful God gave me you, and I pray this next year brings you many more reasons to smile, rest, laugh, and feel just how loved you truly are. 🎂❤️

Loki has officially claimed the recliner—and apparently decided that snuggling with my hubby is part of the package! 😂❤️

There’s just something so sweet about seeing our boarding guests become part of the family while they’re here. We love giving them a cozy, home-like place to relax, play, and get plenty of love while their people are away. 🐶🏡💕

Stella has officially headed home, and now it’s just Loki holding down the fort! 🐾❤️

These two had SO much fun together—chasing each other around, playing, and wearing each other completely out. 😂 It’s always a little bittersweet when one of our furry guests heads home after they’ve settled into the routine here.

Now Loki gets to enjoy being the only guest for a little while… which means ALL the attention, couch time, and belly rubs are his! 🥰🐶

Thanks for spending some time with us, Stella! We’ll miss you! ❤️
