I am proud and honoured to provide a testimony for Hannah Harvey-Smith Equestrian.

I first met Hannah many years ago, when I moved to her Livery yard with my horse Patrick. Little did I know I would still be there 9 years later! Which in itself is testimony to her love, passion and understanding of the horses (and people) in her care.

She taught my horse and I so much that I hadn’t thought possible and am eternally grateful.

She is a font of knowledge and experience, in all disciplines. Easily adapting to teaching nervous, new riders like myself to those experienced competition riders and horses, and everything in between.

She excels with children too.

The horses welfare is always paramount to Hannah. Which is how it should be. She is easy to talk to, no question is too silly. If its important to you, its important to Hannah.

I can highly recommend Hannah-Harvey Equestrian.

Am proud to call her a friend.

If Hannah becomes your go-to horse-person you will not be disappointed! She is a talented rider, knowledgeable yard manager and supportive coach!
My horse was on livery at her yard for 2 years (we wish it was longer) it was a real haven for horses and humans! She gives the best care and treats our horses like her own. She even stepped in to care for him as our vet performed a shoulder operation complete with lots of blood and gunge - I'd have passed out!
As a coach she tailors lessons to each horse and rider, for me they are always fun and challenging. We always finish up having achieved something and with a smile on our faces. Thanks Hannah, please come back and see us soon!

Had a great first lesson in Shillingford at Barricane Livery & Retirement Stables with Lydia and Tally!

What a dude this young horse is, I can’t wait to watch this pair grow 🌷

I’ve had my boy Donut under Hannah’s care for the past 3 years and he has never been happier, Whether it’s competition nerves or simple advice She is and has always been there so support me or give me a much needed kick up the backside and i wouldn’t have it any other way. She is extremely knowledgeable and an incredible rider. As well as being all round lovely and supportive. She’s like family to me and am lucky to be able to call her a friend.

Hannah is a truly one of a kind yard manager and instructor who has cared for my mare as if she were her own for the past 3 1/2 years. She’s an incredibly passionate, knowledgable, caring and thoughtful individual who always puts the safety and welfare of the horses under her care for first.

Hannah conducts herself in a friendly and highly professional manner while she manages day to day yard life with ease. She seamlessly organises appointments from pole clinics, farrier, dentist, physio and more that always work around all of her clients schedules.

I would recommend Hannah in a heart beat. Anyone lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with her will not be disappointed.

‘Hannah is an excellent instructor and yard manager. She has looked after my gelding on part livery for over 3 years with impeccable attention to detail and horsemanship. Hannah’s knowledge is extensive and she is always the first port of call for excellent advice and support. The yard is so well organised and from a clients perspective runs seamlessly, and this is testament to the hard work and thoughtfulness that clearly happens behind the scenes. Hannah has run a number of pole clinics that are not only fun but get the best out of any horse and rider combination. It is my pleasure to provide this testimony for Hannah Smith, owner/manager at Blueys livery stables where we stabled one of our horses for over 4 years. During this time, Hannah demonstrated exceptional management and people skills, making a significant and lasting contribution to the smooth running of the yard and the wellbeing of both horses and staff.
Hannah manages the daily operations with great efficiency and attention to detail. Her strong organisational skills ensure that all routines—from feeding and turnout schedules to veterinary and farrier visits—run seamlessly. Hannah has an excellent understanding of horse behaviour and welfare, always prioritising safety and the highest standards of care.
