**💔 A Difficult Update from Danimal’s Help 💔**

We’ve been quiet lately—not because the need has stopped, but because we’re at a painful standstill. I have been focusing on growning my business to continue the rescue but we’re just not there yet.

Right now, Danimal’s Help is facing overwhelming vet bills from the many dogs and cats we've rescued, healed, and loved. These outstanding costs are preventing us from taking in new animals who desperately need help. It breaks our hearts knowing they are out there waiting, but we simply can’t bring them in until we get back on solid ground.

We’ve always believed in fighting for the forgotten—the sick, the injured, the scared—but we can’t do it alone. If you’ve supported us before, if you’ve adopted, shared, donated, or even just cheered us on from afar, we ask you to please consider helping again.

🙏 **Every dollar truly makes a difference.**

Whether it’s $5 or $50, your support goes directly toward medical bills, food, and supplies that keep our dogs safe and healthy.

If you’re unable to donate, sharing this post is just as powerful. Let’s reach the people who can help us get back to saving lives.

We’re not giving up, but we can’t continue without help. 💔

With love and hope,
Danimal’s Help

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share my newest certification with you folks! I've been doing behavior consulting for quite some time now but I really wanted to get my official certification through the IAABC. I'm happy to announce that I passed my exam and am now a CDBC (Certified Dog Behavior Consultant).

The dog training industry is so unregulated and our knowledge of dogs and their behavior is constantly evolving. I think it's so important for trainers to go out and get certifications and continue their education so they can offer the most humane and evidence-based teaching!

Didn't get to do as much training as you'd like because you had 587 other things to do?

No worries! Feed your dog their dinner by scattering their food out in nature's snufflemat! GRASS! 🌿

This is a great way to provide your dog some enrichment through general feeding!

Dog Guardian Spotlight: Jackie & Jordy!

I just wanted to give a very special shoutout to an amazing client and her lovely dog! Jackie initially reached out to me because Jordy needed some confidence building around things like new people, dogs and even moving things like bikes! He had been attacked by a group of dogs and it was a long process to get him back to where he was.

After lots of behavior modification, exposure, muzzle training and a careful consideration of meds, Jordy really turned around. He had a few set backs but he has really come such a long way. I'm so proud of his guardian, Jackie, for really stepping up and putting the work in. She has been an incredible advocate to him and really makes sure he feels safe.

Jordy was able to attend a group class and even graduated! I can't be more proud of this duo and I'm so proud of their progress! 💚

A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR ADULT BASICS GRADUATES! 🥳

Jordy, Ash and Harley just finished up their Adult Basics group class and graduated with flying colors.

I am so so proud of each and every dog and pet parent in this class and it's amazing to see where they started vs. where they are now!

Sorry for being M.I.A!

I just came back from attending Clicker Expo 2025 in Chicago! I got to see my lovely Pets for Vets crew and got to connect with many old friends and new!

One of my favorite parts of the conference was our Saturday night dinner featuring a presentation by Jade Fountain about her work in Tanzania with APOPO.

APOPO is a non-profit that has a HeroRATs program where rats are clicker trained to detect things like landmines, tuberculosis and illegally trafficked wildlife products. They also train the rats to find survivors in rubble after natural disasters. The rats have excellent noses and are small and light enough to squeeze through small spaces and not set off landmines.
Watching the entire training process was incredible and I highly encourage everyone to look more into it. It truly is amazing what we can train animals to do and the best part is that it's all done positively through clicker training.

MOROGORO, Tanzania — Often dismissed as pests, rats have long been misunderstood. But the African giant pouched rat (Cricetomys gambianus), the world’s longest, is challenging that perception. With its intelligence and super sense of smell, this species has captured the interest of scientists in...

A tremendous loss ❤️

With profound sadness and immense gratitude, we honor the life and legacy of Karen Pryor, a true pioneer in the fields of animal behavior and positive reinforcement training. Karen’s groundbreaking work revolutionized how we communicate with animals—and each other—leaving an indelible mark on science, education, and the lives of countless species around the world.
