So proud of my horses.. especially Wrangler and Chex!

Yesterday they hiked 11 miles through water, mud, snow, and timber to pack out an elk.

We flushed deer and a good sized bear.

The trip will officially be Sunny's retirement ride with me and he will no longer be hiking anymore.. he will be flatland only from now on.

Wrangler started the ride being ponied and was sooo confused haha
He also carried Chris to the game bags, packed out close to 200 lbs of meat then I rode him the rest of the way down the mountain. He was truly our saving grace for the whole trip. Thank you Wrangler for being such a good boy when we needed you.

Chex has been started for packing years ago and has carried bones but this was her first official meat bags. She did so good!

Thank you Nikki for going with me and keeping me company, and also keeping me calm ish LOL as the sun started to set. I was getting pretty nervous we were gonna be hiking in the dark.
And even though Oakley was kind of a stinker I'm going to give her a shout out anyway for being there and hiking for us.

Jazz was such a good girl and im so sad I didn't get to show her last weekend. When she is on point she is phenomenal.

Rowdy had his busy shoes on and he wanted to go go go haha.

Went to the World Series Finale of the Mountain Trail Event this weekend.

First off I would like to say how proud I am of Raitchelle and Shay.
For their first trail show together they did awesome! Shay was so calm and willing. Such a good girl.

Im pretty pleased with how well Arrow did too.. he handled the course so well.. considering he's never been on one.
His first big show in the books and he got an honorable mention for his side pass today. He ended up placing 5th today in the in hand division.

Wrangler was being a little bit of a stinker this weekend. But some obstacles he did really well. He placed 2nd yesterday in the Advanced/ Open division.
Today's course was hard! Probably one of the hardest courses I've done to date. There was over 21 obstacles and I was very worried that I was going to forget something. It also included all of the obstacles that Wrangler doesn't like.
But we still managed to place fifth in the Advanced/Open divison. He also got an honorable mention today. But I'm not sure which obstacle it was for.
