Rascal has officially completed his 2nd and 3rd weeks with me. He encountered tarps, flags, ropes and a very suspicious balloon. He had his first canter in an arena, his first play day and his first two trail rides. This little stud c**t is shaping up to be a awesome boy!

My mother has asked me to work with her stud c**t so he stays quiet and calm around mares and gets his first few rides in. He’s been with me for 7 days and had his first ride today which went flawlessly! 1 day saddle work, 5 solid days of bit work, and 1 ride!

Totally forgot Maui worked with the flag as well. He did so well!

And then we tie it to her feet. We do this because you never know what you’ll encounter on the trail and I’ve been dumped by a few horses who were afraid of a bag that drifted their way. As you can see Russia does not care about it one bit.

Tarps, ropes, water and plastic bags in the last few days for theses two. They’ve both been taking everything I’ve thrown at them in stride!

Maui got his first introduction to the tarp and was NOT impressed lol
Russia got reintroduced to it as well after 2 days off due to rain. Russia also got a little weight in the stirrups since she has gained about 50-75lbs we’re hoping she’s feeling good enough to start riding next week.
We’ve also been drying blankets from the rain and mud this last weekend and walking past them they were scary so of course we did some desensitizing with them.
