🐾 Important Update: Temporary Two-Week Quarantine 🐾

To keep all our furry residents happy and healthy, we are officially under a two-week quarantine, effective immediately.

What this means:
No Paws In, No Paws Out: We won’t be taking in any new dogs or sending any home for adoption until the quarantine is lifted.

Just a Precaution: Please don’t worry! This isn’t anything major—we are simply taking extra precautions to ensure the well-being of all the pups in our care.

We know some of you were looking forward to meet-and-greets or bringing home a new best friend, and we appreciate your patience while we prioritize the health of our pack.

We’ll keep you posted and let you know the second we’re back to our regular schedule!

LET US INTRODUCE OURSELVES

The Betsy Jackson Memorial Fundraiser was created in 2017 following Betsy’s passing, as her family sought a meaningful way to honor her deep love for people and animals. What began as a heartfelt tribute has grown into a dedicated effort to support the animals of the Henry Trimble Animal Shelter. Through raffles, events, and community support, the fundraiser has contributed over $30,000 directly toward the shelter’s veterinary bills. In addition to financial support, the group has helped provide essential improvements, including an awning for the shelter building, assisted in financing the new fence built around shelter building, purchased new dog beds along with ongoing donations of treats, toys, blankets, and medications. In 2025, the mission expanded with the launch of Eminence’s (and Henry County’s) first free pet food pantry, supplying thousands of pounds of dog and cat food to the community. The fundraiser continues to grow, now hosting its second annual car show to further support the shelter and its animals.
