Been getting some outside work time since the weather has been nice the last month. Valkyrie has definitely grown in the last month and filled out more. She is getting to be a big girl with some long legs. Also getting better about our feet being messed with but still slightly uncoordinated at the standing on 3 legs thing when asked.

Someone hates me taking pictures of her but looks so good in her new blanket. Fits much better then the one I started her with.

Got some really good lunging in today and got introduced to the saddle pad and saddle. She did wonderful with it. Didn’t care about anything and didn’t even try to buck. She wasn’t sure about the noise of it but that was about it.

She is looking so pretty. She has definitely grown but still has the baby face. We had more adventures in the round pen today, did lots of lunging, more haltering as I’m hoping to have the halter off her completely by this weekend and she even let me take the blanket off and put it back on over her head. She is picking up on everything very quickly.

It was to dark the first night to video but we got her to lunge. Thank you Haley for the help the first night. Was able to work her today and she was so good. She is very smart and picks things up very quickly. The movement and action she has is insane and so pretty.

Made it outside and to the round pen yesterday, got to meet Sakari and both got some work in.

We made it outside and to the round pen yesterday. It was slow going at first but she did great. She also got to meet Sakari and both of them got worked together in the round pen. We’re getting better with stranger danger and overall relaxing more.

First time being introduced to a blanket.

We are now wearing a blanket! And can pick up both of our front feet with ease. She let me pick them out and just calmly stood there for it today. We’re getting better about a different halter going on and off, have a bridle path now.
