These were created by Margo at Detezi. She makes amazing art for so many animal welfare groups, and made Mosh Pits & Kits these designs. We get 20% from each sale! Anything we raise will go towards future cat rescue projects. Hoping to get totally back in action soon!

Kinda sorta getting back into directly doing cat rescue 🖤 this is a huge project being done by many other local rescuers, I’m just helping out a little.

There’s an abandoned house that’s going to be demolished soon (from what I have heard they are planning on Wednesday). There’s an uncountable amount of cats and kittens living in it. Many are hiding under floorboards and are too scared or feral to come out.

10 cats/kittens have been trapped so far. They’re all in need of socialization and vet care. I will not be taking any in as I’m unable to at this time, but I will be helping as I can.

Erica Altilio has been out there kicking ass every single day to help get as many cats out of there as possible. Please see her page for more info and to make contributions towards these kitties for vet care and supplies. 🤘

When the weather warms up, community cats need extra help staying cool!

🚰 Fresh water - Replenish daily and add ice cubes to help it stay cool! You can even freeze entire bowls of water and let them melt outside.

⛱️ Shady spots - This can be as simple as setting up an umbrella or planting a bush!

🐟Wet food - Wet food helps cats stay hydrated when they’re not getting enough water. Just don’t leave it sitting out!

🧊Frozen bottles - Fill up a 1 or 2 liter bottle with water, freeze it, and then put it outside for overheated kitties to lie next to.

👅Frozen tube treats! Put them in the freezer for a feline-friendly popsicle.

Mouse was originally found hanging out near a building of a local organization. She kept going up to everyone who walked by, asking to be taken home with them. We took her in and found her the home she was dreaming of! Thank you and congratulations to her new human guardian:)

All of Maiden’s kittens were adopted, and finally, it was Maiden’s turn! Maiden was adopted and is the queen of her new house. She enjoys watching the birds land at the bird feeder outside her window. Thank you and congratulations to her human guardian:)

All of Maiden’s kittens have been adopted 🎉

𝔚𝔦𝔰𝔥𝔩𝔦𝔰𝔱 𝔦𝔱𝔢𝔪𝔰 𝔫𝔢𝔢𝔡𝔢𝔡!

Axe & her littermates, Flail, Crossbow, & Sword, along with Maiden & Mouse, are absolutely tearing through our food supply. And therefore, the litter supply. We could use some help keeping up with their needs (and demands!) 😈

Our biggest needs right now are:
-Purina kitten chow (yellow bag)
-Kitty litter (any kind)
-Rescue disinfectant (wipes & liquid)

…oh, but Axe said she’d appreciate some new toys & treats, too 😉

Axe will be available soon! Her littermates all are still a little sick, but will be available as soon as they’re no longer congested and icky 🤒

Welcome to the rescue, Mouse!

Another cat joined the rescue today, a 16 week old female cat named Mouse. She was hanging around outside of a local organization's building, living in a window well. She is now inside enjoying a warm blanket, a big bowl of food, and cat toys. She will be available for adoption as soon as I get her spayed & up to date on shots.

Today we got 5 cats spayed and neutered!

4 foster kittens (Flail, Axe, Sword, & Crossbow), along with 1 community cat, were spayed/neutered and vaccinated for rabies and feline distemper today.

All four foster kittens were spayed (Surprise! They’re all girls), and will be available for adoption in roughly 2 weeks once they’ve had their final distemper booster shots and are finished with their antibiotics (still battling those upper respiratory infections on and off 🤒)

One community cat - who was known to be the dad of several kitties in the neighborhood and contributed to many homeless litters of kittens that are now grownup stray cats a has been neutered and vaccinated as well. He’ll be happier and healthier now. He was returned right back to where he was trapped. He has several caregivers that feed him, provide shelter for him, and love him. Not all cats want to or can live inside houses with people. This is the next best thing.

🖤 CURRENTLY ACCEPTING ADOPTION APPLICATIONS FOR MAIDEN 🖤

Maiden originally came into Mosh Pits & Kits’ care as a surrender with her 4 kittens. She is a young, spayed female torti who is looking for her forever family. She is estimated to be 1.5-2 years old. Maiden is affectionate and curious about what’s going on around her. She is FANTASTIC with other cats and enjoys their company. She hasn’t met any dogs yet, but would likely be fine with a calm dog (or two). She’s very gentle and friendly and would likely be amazing in a home with children. Maiden’s favorite things are temptations cat treats and comfy blankets.

Maiden is:
•Spayed
•Up to date for the year on rabies & feline distemper vaccinations
•Up to date on parasite prevention (flea, ear mite, & worm treatment)
•Clear of any infections to our knowledge (treated for upper respiratory with antibiotics while in my care, which is now gone)

Application is REQUIRED to be considered to adopt Maiden (unless you’ve adopted from me/Mosh Pits & Kits before). Adoption fee is REQUIRED to take Maiden home (with approved application). Adult cat adoption fee.

Maiden will be getting her last vaccine as of March 19th and can go home right after that.
