Apologies for my terrible whistling 😘
I love how Iris tilts her head trying to figure out what noises are coming out of her hooman mom. She’s such a daddy’s girl, and after losing her mom at just three weeks old — along with her three littermates — she’s an extra special blessing in our home.

I’ve always felt that head‑tilters are smart dogs. You can see them processing the world.

I’m always thinking of ways to give her lots of social experiences so she grows up confident around new people and dogs. Real dog moms teach their pups so many lessons — how to behave, how to communicate, when to accept corrections — and Iris didn’t get that start.

So far on our outings she runs up to everyone, no fear of people or dogs, just pure happiness and excitement.

Finding Forest the English Mastiff - Dog Trainer is a yearling now so he's filling out nicely, including gaining more muscles to fill up more wrinkles! He adores having his head scratched & I adore listening to him purr.

Did you know that English Mastiffs purr? You can hear his purring at the end. After a nice walk where we free run, Forest and Iris are pooped.

He loves when I love on him. He's a yearling now & after gaining his max skeletal height, he'll be adding another 50-75lbs of muscle before fully grown. His skull is growing bigger fast!

Over the next 6-12 months he'll develop more of those adorable squishy face wrinkles and folds on his boopity-boopity snoot and face! You can hear his purring at the end.

They might only be here for a part of our lives, but we are their whole world. Seeing these two bond is a reminder to cherish every moment. Who is your furry best friend?
