Hey everyone! As much as I hate to make this post, it’s something that i’ve thought hard about since reopening and i’ve come to the conclusion that the best thing for me is to close Sky’s Canine Cottage. I have enjoyed it so much and loved meeting everyone’s doggies but my top priority is making sure my baby and my animals are taken care of and my time just feels very limited at the moment. Thank you all that have trusted me and/or reached out inquiring about boarding with me, it means so much! This chapter was a short but good one. Thank you again 🫶🏼

Hey everyone!! Thanks for being so patient with me these last few months as we welcomed our sweet boy into the world. I wanted to get on here and announce that I plan to reopen mid February 2026!!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to announce that my books are now CLOSED until after I return from maternity leave closer to the end of the year. The cottage has stayed very busy the last few months and I thank you all for that!
I will make a post when I am more sure of a reopening date but right now I do not know for certain, as we will be going through a big adjustment period!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to make an updated post! First, I would like to say thank you all for supporting me and trusting me with your babies!
I want to just touch on a few different things.

Pricing: it is $40 a night for one dog and $30 a night per any additional dog.

Booking: You are welcome to message me on facebook, text me, or call. I am better with messaging and texting though.

Location: I am located in Ellerbe, NC. I do not have the physical address listed but will provide that when it is time for you to bring your pet(s) to me.

Tours: I do allow you to come and see where your dog will be staying if requested and if time allows for it to happen. Please do not show up without having an approved appointment time.

Again, thank you all so much! I truly appreciate you all.

Hi everyone! I’m Skylar LeBerth and i’m SO excited to share this with all of you! I have officially opened a small, ran from home, dog boarding business in Ellerbe, NC called Sky’s Canine Cottage! I am licensed through the NC Department of Agriculture.
If you know me personally you know that I love dogs more than just about anything else. I have two of my own and I know how difficult it can be to find someone you trust enough to take care of them when you’re away. That is why I have opened this business to be here to love on, play with, and take care of your babies when you aren’t here to do so!
I will be posting further information on how to book a stay for your pups, pricing, etc. Can’t wait to meet some doggies! 🩷
